I guess with back to eating American food, he needed that GW to carry him around, with all the problems he was having with it, I am surprised he still has it.

Every now and then Big Lots has some, I once bought it for $4.00 a can, since my ac in the van leaked I bought 6 cans, now every time I see it there I buy 2-3 cans, last time it was $8.00 a can, still a good price, I was in O'Reily's last week and saw it for 16.95 a can.

Get her one of those headrests that NASCAR drivers use to hold their heads in place, works well for them................

Had a great ride today, it took about an hour or so for me to get it off my mind..........what was it??? It was just K-Rider and myself, we went over to Mt. Cheaha cooled our heals there a while then took some back roads back to Franklin, Ga, where we enjoyed some BBQ and ice cold tea and went our own way, we did about 200 miles and it was the most glorious day for a ride. Now back to the honeydew list and go out and cut grass, she says it will help also.........I think she is playing me now...........also gonna have the grandkids for 3 days so I know we will have lots of fun around here.

How about someone, not me, draft a letter to Yamaha and post it up here so everyone can print it down and send it to Mama Yama............don't know if it would do any good, but who knows someone might be willing to at least read one or two and see what turns us Star Riders want in a touring bike. Jury duty is over, haven't been on the bike in over a week, time for some cycle-therapy, leaving around 9:30 to go on a ride with K-Rider and another co-worker. I still haven't had anything solid to eat since lunch yesterday and that wasn't very much, hopefully my stomach will be settled down enough to eat lunch. I have been having problem eating ever since deliberation started, gotta get that outa my brain and replace them with more plesant thoughts..........looking to put about 300 miles on the bike today. :Venture::Venture:

I have had my 83 for 8 years and never had a problem with it, it sounds great and works perfectly, a lot of times the crackling can be the loose connection between the pins in the radio unit and the amp where they meet, Try putting some dielectric grease on the connectors under the radio panel and see if that helps. In fact take all the connectors out and do the same thing.

My civic duty is over, I don't know how long this scumbag will get, but after talking to the ADA after the trial, he could get anywhere from 1 to 20 years on each count. We found him guilty of all 8 counts. I hope he serves them consecutively and not concurrently, that would put him away for a long time. I am proud of what we did, but I am sick at what he did, I think I need a little more than cycle-therapy to help me get over this. I won't go into detail here of what he did, but if you want to pm me I will tell you. This was not an easy slam dunk, we were hung a couple of times on several of the counts but the Judge and the ADA did an excellent job of helping us get through this. The judge even came back to the juror room after the trial and personally thanked us and asked us for suggestions to make thing easier for future jurors, and the ADA found us in the clerks office and also thanked us and talked with us, that's when we found out what he was in store for.

The auctions havent gone up yet, I have been so tired when I get home from jury duty, I just dont have the energy to post up 10 auctions. I will be off this weekend and will get them posted up, but dont let that stop the cheer-leading.............

That is one thing, I am not bored sitting there, unless we are in the jury room. I have found this to be a great learning experience. I would not hesitate to do it again, not for the money but for the chance to see the justice system at work. I am a big fan of those types of tv shows and in those everything happens in a shortened version of events. I have a lot of respect for the judges, DA's and even the attorney defending his client. That is a job I do ot envy, somebody has to do it. I have also met some very interesting people while serving on this jury, especially the bailiffs, they have a thankless job and are usually retired LEO's. The ones we have are older gentlemen one a retired state trooper and the other a retired salesman, I guess you dont need law enforcement experience to be one.......... Hmm, retirement coming up, that could be an interesting retirement gig!!!!

The judge said that this trial should last till Thursday or Friday, well the state is still presenting it case and tomorrow is Thursday, I am not complaining, I find this a great learning experience of how the court process works, sorta like being in a episode of Law and Order. We have spent many hours in the jury room and less time in the jury box. Has anyone else had a similar experience while serving jury duty. All I can say is that this is a felony criminal trial, with multiple charges against the defendant.

Brad, so very sorry to hear of your mothers illness, Charlene and I will keep her, and your entire family in our prayers. It just seems that sometimes no matter how hard we try, things just dont always go the way we plan or want them too. Know you have a very large extended family here praying for you and your family.

I still have a pretty good quantity of shirts, but the sizes are limited to Large, Med, 2X Large, 3X Large & 4X Large, I forgot I had the 4 XLarge, so they weren't listed in the last auctions, I also have a few hats left and some pins. I will post a couple of auctions with 1 of each, and a couple with 2 items and the rest as singles. Remember, the Kids at St Jude are the real winners when all is said and done, this money goes a long way to helping them fight and find cures for all the different forms of cancer they have to deal with.

I have a co-worker and new VR member, one in the same, helping me right now, but when we get ready to put it back in the frame a third body might come in handy, luckily we got it out by ourselves without doing any major damage to us or the bike, the third body would be very helpful. I will let you know when we are ready to go back in with it. Appreciate the offer. How is your bike coming along?

By those standards a person can get rich here, they pay $50.00 a day, get 1 1/2 hour for lunch, the gas wont kill me, I am only 4 miles at the most from the courthouse. Its going to be an interesting week for me, the trial might go for 4-5 days or longer, its a pretty heavy criminal case. Its going to be an emotional one too. I did get some more work done today on the 83, they picked the jury and we were out by 11:00 am. Got a lot done that I didnt think I would get to do till next weekend.

I have been summoned by Coweta County Superior court for jury duty so no work for me today, and maybe a few more this week, get paid by the court, get paid by my employer, not a bad deal. More money to throw at the Venture and getting it back running, maybe some new plastic............can't get safety chrome for these old relics anymore.

Hey Wes, do you want to double your money on one and sell it to me for .02 cents.........Really do need one.
