    I got gas for $2.89 a gallon after my .10 discount at Kroger's. Hoping it keeps falling some and stays there, but I dont think it will. :crying: What are you paying in your neck of the woods?

    I have been here so long now, all the newness has worn off, and I basically have run out of new and funny things to say, and Don really frowns on me and many others of stirring things up with some of our more..........questionable post.:bang head:

    I wish that I could say the only reason I feel down this holiday season is because I am under the weather, but we all know thats not the case, regardless of how good I or anyone could feel, the holidays will be somber. I know its all about remembering the birth of Jesus, and I normally can enjoy the season if I am up or down, but with what happened 11 days before Christmas I will not only be remembering our Savior's birth but the passing of 20 little Angels and 7 of their guardian Angels. Lets all remember to keep Christ in Christmas and those 27 Angels and Guardians in our hearts and prayers. My grandkids, my little angels, will be spending the night with us tonite and I cant wait for them to get here so I can smother them in hugs and kisses. Charlene and I wish all of our VR family a Merry Christmas.

    I disagree, Wingman and I put Avon Venoms or our bikes just days apart. He ran 42lbs in his rear tire, I ran mine at 50 lbs. His rear tire wore out in about 7500 miles, mine was replaced with over 14,000 miles. When he switched tires after it wore out he started running 50 in the rear and got more mileage out of it than the first.

    My daughter has finished nursing school and today she received her pin becoming an RN. Charlene and I are very fortunate to have 2 great kids that make us proud, they both have done very well for themselves.:clap2:

    Please offer up your prayers to the families and friends and staff for the victims of the school shootings this morning at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Conn. 18 children and 8 adults were shot and killed by a lone gunman. One of the victims at the school was the shooter's mother. The school was K-4th grade. This is happening all to often. The shooter was a 20 year old male that just entered the school and used two high capacity hand guns.

    Hope your surgery goes well, we dont need to remind you of anything, take care and let the healing begin. Our prayers are with you, hopefully this will be the last surgery you have to endure.

    They are junk, I had them on my bike and after about a week one burned out, so I pulled out another from the other set I bought, replaced it and same thing, burned out. Wal Mart wouldnt exchange them, said I had to return to manufacturer. Didnt waste my time. If you want quality lights you have to pay the price for them.:mo money:

    Didnt know you were having a problem, hope you heal quickly and everything returns to normal. At least it didnt happen during the good riding weather, take care and keep us posted. and like the others say, listen to the Dr's.

    I agree 100% with Dick on this one, I just purchased, with Dick's help a 93 Royale Motor Trike and it doesnt have reverse. I back it into my garage to park it and on level ground it is very easy to back up, and if your vertically challenged and cant get both feet on the ground it rolls very easy pushing it by hand. Just be carefull where you park, I either pull through the parking spot so I can go straight out or if its on an incline let it roll back into the spot. My wife can even push our trike back with me on it.

    It would have cost them a lot more if one of them had been shot or killed during the robbery..........a lawsuit by the family could break the bank.:mo money:

    Ordered the R1 calipers for my trike on Saturday, came home yesterday and they were waiting for me on the porch. I thought I was getting the ones with the blue insert (steel pistons), but surprise I got the ones with the gold insert, (alum. pistons). I immediately pulled out the tools and pulled the left caliper off the trike and the R1 slipped right into place. Now I am waiting on the new pads to arrive. The pads on them were still fair, but I decided to go new, dont want to have to work on it twice. Next upgrade will be the SS lines I looked up the price for new ones at BikeBandit and was in shock, the were over $500.00 each, and I got both of them for less than $100.00 shipping included........ :banana:

    I will definitely not be shopping there anymore:no-no-no::no-no-no:, and I use them for most all my parts purchases, O Reily, Advantange, and many others out there that I will use now:thumbsup2:. Shame on AZ for doing the wrong thing when and employee does the right thing. I guess if he would have stayed outside the front door he wouldnt have been fired?? I cant believe where we are headed with people like this leading companies and other important things and places!!!!!!!
