  1. Thanks for pointing Dick in the right direction, I had a pm from him and sent him the same info. Everyone does a good job of keeping up with what goes on...........well done.
  2. As soon as the 2 big auctions are over I will be posting more shirts, pins, and hats up for bidding. I have a lot of shirts and pins, have 7 hats left. I will announce in the watering hole when they are up and ready for bidding.
  3. Here are the winners of the latest round of St. Jude Auctions. 4. Glad to see you posting after such a serious accident. Hope your recovery is fast and complete.
  5. The only auctions active now and till they end are the St. Jude/VR belt buckle and the St. Jude Venture. These auctions are in their final week of bidding, and the bidding has been stalled for quite some time. Belt buckle is at $350.00 and that auction will be ending on April 1,2013 at 6 PM eastern time. I will be ending that auction manually and all bids are time stamped so, whoever is high bid at that time will be the winner, dont wait till the last minute to bid, and I bet there will be some sniping. Now the St. Jude Venture auction will be ending the day before, March 31, 2013 at 7:45 pm. That auction now stands at $1575.00. Now getting that bike at that price is a steal especially with all the upgrades that have been done by the current owner. You can own a very special bike that will be a joy to ride, but by winning the auction and riding that bike, you have helped the kids at St. Jude Children's Hospital, and I do hope the winner will be able to ride it to Memphis this year when we make our annual ride to present our check to them. I want to thank everyone who has donated, bid and helped to promote these auctions, we can make a difference for the kids at St. Jude. :clap2::thumbsup::clap2:
  6. You need to have the 2 left side pistons connected with a splitter for the vac. advance hose for it to run properly. Its okay to block off the right side completely, but for it to run right you need the 2 left connected to the advance.
  7. I didnt know there were more verses than what is tradionally sung before sports venues all over the US. Thanks for posting them up for all to see. God Bless America
  8. Wa, Wa, Wa,.............just wait till you get to your mid sixties......................ready for retirement and watch what happens then..................:stirthepot:
  9. Its DragonRider, I am the better looking of the 2!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I have been thinking the very same thing.............:thumbsup2:
  11. I have posted 8 new auctions for St. Jude. 4 of the auctions have a new item to bid on and that is all I have of them. Maybe more new items next year. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showcat.php?cat=15
  12. Hate to hear you are going to rid yourself of all your bikes, I know they were a labor of love to get them to the point you wanted them and they were awesome. But get a trike, I did and I really enjoy riding it when I do, looking forward to this riding season and retirement, no I am not as old as you, but I am getting there, but I aint giving up anytime soon.:no-no-no:
  13. I think we ought to keep this limited to members so everyone will get a chance to see the St Jude Venture when the new owner takes possession, we know what it means, outsiders wouldnt appreciated it, in my opinion.
  14. Ok, I fixed that, anything else??????
  15. OK, I received a pm from Miles in regards to the bidding on the St. Jude Venture, this is just part of it, I have edited it to protect the innocent................LOL By the way this auction has 14 days left, it ends on....March 31, 2013!! Lew, you may want to promote the St. Jude auction bike a little, as the bids have not gone up for the past 10+ days. I know that there will probably be a couple people that wait until the last day to bid, and catch others off guard, but...it is fun to watch the bidding all month long, rather than wait until the 11th hour. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=4480&title=1984-venture-aka-stjude-venture&cat=15 Miles
  16. The winner of the safety chrome auction is RSTDdog with a high bid of $176.50. Thanks for an awesome auction for these items, The Kids at St. Jude win again. Thanks again to Charles Arbogast aka slowrollwv for donating these items. :clap2::clap2:
  17. We are unable to put an automatic end date on the auction, so this is the notice that the auction for the belt buckle will be ending on April 1, 2013 at 6:00 pm eastern time. The highest bid up to that time will be the winner. Thanks to everyone for bidding so generoulsy for this fantastic belt buckle, your winning bids go a long way in helping the Kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
  18. Like I said many times before, its you and all the members that make this possible, I am just the tool used to make it happen, its my lot in this life...................
  19. The first round is over and here are the winners, actually the kids are the winners. All totals after your name includes shipping. 1.YamahaWoodsey........................................$38.00 2.Skid.........................................................$45.00 3.lsutley......................................................$42.00 4.Buckshot.........2 auctions............................$83.00 Please include you shirt size in the comment section of PayPal when sending payment to partin_guy@yahoo.com And dont forget to include you shipping address also. 21. Auctions for the shirts, hats, & pins will be ending in aprox 26 hours from now or at aprox 11:300 am on the 11th of March. I will be putting up more items a couple of days after these close but this may be your only chance to get all three items with one winning bid. I will be putting different packages to bid on so as to keep it fresh. Remember all monies raised will be donated to the "Kids" at St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tn. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS :mo money::mo money:
  22. How about bringing it back to Vogel this year for the long distance rider award...............It did make 2 appearences at Vogel in the past, and I think thats where it all started, I may be wrong about that and that would really be a first.......me being wrong that is.:cool10:
  23. I too have driven by there many times in my 18 years of doing courier work that took me all over the country. I have always wanted to stop there and next time I get up that way I will. How much is the full fare admission. I can afford $8.00.
