  1. Sounds like your getting a real good taste of NOLA, almost makes me want to move back home...........enjoy, and before you leave have a good ole New Orleans Po Boy..........you will love it. Its a sandwich made on the local French Bread.
  2. There are numerous Venture/V Max parts listed in one auction in the St. Jude Auctions.
  3. Happy anniversary to the both of you. Such a loving caring couple, you see it every time they are together. On another note, we really missed you guys at Vogel, and everyone was asking if you were coming. I know it wasnt possible since you are still recovering. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Take care and God Bless.

Welcome to the family, it doesnt get any better than this group..................
  5. You are so right Patti, I also forgot about the Venturerider Buckle, it brought the second largest single donation, and for an item so small, who would have thought. Buckshot is indeed a fantastic supporter and member. Thanks Gil. Patti, it's going to be the Ronald McDonald house, and if time permits the new Grizzly House which is located on the campus............I cant wait, it just keeps getting better and bigger.
  6. You had everyone's attention the whole time...................the only interruption was when people kept getting trapped in the bathroom or the back deck......:rotfl::rotfl:
  7. Finally found some time to post some pics from Vogel...................I am still not rested up from those 4 days................
  8. [bI just received a pm from Amy aka Froger, that the NY crew is sending in a donation generated at the WNY VR rally. My hats off to them for their support. Thanks to everyone that attended their rally and helped generate the monies. I just wish I could meet everyone who has helped out by raising funds for St. Jude and thank them personally. There are many I havent had the pleasure to meet, but knowing they are VR members makes them family and sooner or later I will get the chance. The fundraising isnt over till we turn all the money over to St. Jude on Sept. 28, 2014.[/font][/b] :clap2::banana::clap2:
  9. Our donations pale in comparison, but no matter how much we give, we know that St. Jude puts that money to good use. Now we need someone to donate a house to us so we can do the same, we already had a bike donated for the cause, now we set the bar higher..............Hats off to all those that help. The "Kids" are the winners!!!!!
  10. Where did you learn all of that Scott......................................??????
  11. There was a show on the DC about that and they showed them rolling them out of the building for the first time in years.........there was even a Vette, Iforget the year with just a couple of miles on the odo.
  12. Thanks Scott, it was awesome meeting you and Cheryl, it was a highlight of Vogel for me, and I am positive others enjoyed your visit and stories of your travels as much as I did, and it was fun being "had" by you and the others. I will be following your travels with envy as you go along your journey. Thanks again for showing up and finding that we really do exist.
  13. Go to the 1st gen tech section, and there is a write up on removing and replacing or repairing 2nd gear. One of our members here Venturous, did the undercut on his and has had not problems with his. Try to pm him and maybe he can help you out.
  14. I finally got around to reading some of your posts and I have to say, I am hooked on reading your posts. Now since you won the action cam at Vogel, we expect to see some vids of your travels. Ride safe and hope I get to meet up with you again some day, the few days we had to see you were not enough. You had me at shake my hand.......:rotfl::rotfl:WOKA WOKA WOKA.............:rotfl::rotfl:
  15. I will be contacting St. Jude today and firming up the date. As for the mistake, it wasnt in my addition, I forgot to add in the check from KenP for the funds generated when he donated his 1st gen, dubbed the St. Jude Venture, for the kids at St. Jude. Thanks again Ken.
  16. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends
  17. Try it now, I changed it.....................
  18. Here is a video from Vogel. [ame] [/ame]
  19. It was great seeing you again Tom and I am glad you made it home safe and sound. And man did we make some money on all the stuff Tom donated to St. Jude. I dont know the exact amount, but I guess it was in the neighborhood of 400-500 dollars. I am amazed at what people bought, I had my doubts about some of it, but I should have know this VR family would step up and do it for the kids. Thanks again Tom.
  20. In another post about what we collected at Vogel for St. Jude I made a fairly big mistake, the total was not $5013.62. Sorry for the error, you will find the correct total to date if you scroll down. :mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money::mo money: $6638.62
  21. Ken, missed telling you guys good bye, we got tied up at the cabin on Sat, nite with about 10 people dropping by, and then I couldn't get away from the cabin in the morning to catch you guys. I am so happy the gang made it again. Looking forward to next time.
  22. Ok, Ok,It was me who cried, :crying::crying:and Charlene too, I dont mind saying so.............you guys all did it, but Patti and Don got it started way too early, it usually starts when I take the mic and try to thank everyone, but Patti and Don shocked me, really really shocked me, so thats why I was a blubbering fool. I will post the Video once I get it cut down and edited, its over 16 minutes long. Thanks again.
  23. I want to thank each and every one who participated, contributed, donated, helped, supported, attended, bought, bid, and got harassed into buying anything at Vogel. The members at VR once again proved beyond a doubt that this is the best motorcycle group on earth. And a big THANKS to Freebird for starting this group in the first place, without his actions none of this would have transpired. THANKS DON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now on to the reason we all attended Vogel, besides eating and riding. We had a smaller group, in fact the lowest turnout for any Vogel. We had 47 members show up. But no dissapointment here, we still beat my goal for raising funds for the "Kids" at St. Jude. Now this is not the final total, because there will be more before we donate at St.Jude. I just received a message from Frogger that they will be donating monies they raised at the WNY rally. So here is our total so far. Please know that these monies came from St.Jude Auctions, B2Dad and B2mom's meet and eat, The International, and Vogel and some straight donations. My thanks to all for the effort they put out. Drum roll please................................................... $5013.62
  24. Kenny, it was great seeing you and Beth, and I was really surprised you guys showed up knowing Beth was still hurting from her accident. She is one tuff lady. Thanks for support us and look forward to seeing you guys again.
