Just when I think things are getting better with my back and my neck, the other shoe drops, hard. On Monday I am going in to have a nerve block on my lower back, just like the one I had on the right side, this time the left side, now the good news is, if it works like the right side did I can have the RF nerve burn on both sides and get rid of the pain for an extended period of time without surgery, which is what I am trying to avoid. This is on L5 which is the last vertebrae in my back, if I have the surgery it would be a very long recovery because of removing the disc and fusing. My wife and son have both had that, and after what they went thru, not for me just yet, as a last resort only. Right now I can hardly stand and walk and when I do I cant straighten up. Hurry up Monday!!!!!:bang head: Oh, and guess what made it flare up, not riding, but cleaning my bike this past Monday. Good news is the trike sparkles!!!!!!!!!!:banana:

We have been doing this since 2005 and I have been to St. Jude 7 times since I started doing this, and every time I come away feeling good, and touched in a way you wont understand until you have been there. I had a mother of a patient there tell me her son calls us his Angels for what we do for them, now how can that not affect you........................This isn't just about selling 50 shirts, Its about helping these unfortunate Kids who need all of our help. I would love to sell 100, 500, 1000, but I figured we shouldn't have any trouble getting 50 sold with such a large membership. It you cant afford these, there will be another campaign after this one and another, because I want to make a difference for the "Kids" at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Thank you.

We have 13 out of 50 ordered and we have 18 days left to fill our qouta, come on folks, lets make this a very successful fundraiser, I already have another shirt waiting to go. Thanks for all your support.

No matter how much you bid, the first bid is always .25 if you get out bid your bid keeps going higher till you are out bid on you initial bid. Ex. I bid $25.00 for the item first, it will only post to .25, after that you bid 10.00, then my proxy bid will go up to $11.00, it keeps going on like that till my $25.00 bid is outbided.

Nope still waiting for it to begin again, but I bet it doesn't, good thing I have nothing planned for tomorrow evening.:bang head:

Just for the news it would make, and also show The King, that women can race, remember she sat on the pole last year and had a very good showing, she is a talented driver. Most of the crashes she has been in were not her fault, just happend to get caught up in it, just like the race last Saturday, she missed it all then got nailed by her boyfriend..........humm poor choice of word there!!!!! I liked the King when he was ricing, he was my guy, until the 24 came along. Gonna be a good race, cant wait for it to start.

I got a little yesterday did about 60 miles, didnt want to overdue it, but all went well no aches or pains after riding, felt good to be back in the saddle after almost 5 months. Looking to put many more miles on.

I have found another way to raise funds for the Kids at St. Jude. Its not an auction where you have to keep bidding, but an outright purchase of a shirt that I designed for this purpose. If all goes well there will be others. Our goal is to sell 50 shirts. The shirts range from 18.00 for a regular T up to 21.50 for a different style. Now if we dont reach the goal, no one pays anything. No charges will be processed till the goal is reached, if we go over, means more for the Kids. We didnt fly, we drove down to NOLA to go on the cruise, then stayed a couple of days over to visit my son who still lives down there, we beat it by about 12 hours, but it was still worrisome driving back in the very cold rain and fog.

2 weeks ago we had to sit out a winter storm aka SnowJam in most of Ga. On Sat. we left for our curise to warmer climes and had a ball. Well guess what, we get back just in time for another winter storm, much worse than the first, mostly frozen rain and sleet, with some snow mixed in just for the hell of it.................Now I know how you Canucks and far northerners feel about snow and ice.:bang head:

We have just returned home just in time to sit out another winter blast, with freezing rain, sleet, and snow.:bang head: It may be a few days before I get to ship out the items won. I dont expect to have power much longer, this thing has just started here and my lights are flickering already indicating the power wont be on much longer.:crying:
