I havent been on a bicycle in over 25 years, so I doubt that I could even ride a regular bike, let alone that reverse steering bike. Very cool video, but it does prove on thing, that you can teach an old engineer new tricks, it just takes 8 months to do so...............LOL.

Dont worry Dan, I have ridden that interstate many times on bikes and cages, its not bad, he was just unclucky. I grew up less than a mile from that site and after we got married we lived about the same distance from it. He was really lucky he didnt land on one of the many cypress stumps down below the interstate.

Biker on a trike has mechanical problem, hits the barrier on I 310 and gets thrown over the side for a 40 foot drop. http://ow.ly/LYOJB

Eck, have you ever heard of Papa Murphy's Pizza, we discovered them while out in Colorado on vacation, not your typical pizza parlor. You go in and order your pizza any way you want it, they even have different sauces for them. We got an all meat with a white garlic sauce instead of the traditional sauce. They dont cook it for you, it is placed on a special plate so you can go home and cook it in your oven and let me tell you, it was the best pizza I have ever eaten, really great, looking forward to them coming here soon, but not holding my breath, we have so many pizza places here, I dont know if anyone would risk it, I would if I had the money and wanted to go back to work.

Dick, this place is like the, well you know, once your in you cant get out. You were a tremendous help to me in acquiring my 93 Trike when it popped up on CL, and I will never forget what you did for me! Just because you dont have anything pertinent to say doesnt mean you need to leave, you are family and we dont want to loose you. Hang around and check in once and a while, who knows someone may need your help again.................Thanks a bunch for helping me out, hope you hang around!

Charlene and I just returned from a wonderful restfull and fun vacation in Pagosa Springs, Co. If you have never been there you should try it some time. Pagosa Springs is famous for its natural thermal springs, they have the deepest thermal hot springs in the world. We have been there many times but never tried soaking in the springs, but this time we did many things that we have not done on previous visits. The springs were very relaxing, the resort we went to for the springs had 23 different pools you could use and the temps ranged from 99 degrees up to 115 degrees. We went and visited and soaked for about 2 hours and felt really good after we got out. We also went to Creed, Co, for a day and visited the Silver Mining Museum, Creed, is a very small town the is nestled in a valley and the main road in the town runs into a canyon and dead ends, and that is where the museum is located. And for the best of what we did was a hot air ballon ride, we have been owning at this resort in Pagosa Springs for 25 years and we never did the ballon ride until this trip, it was awesome, if you ever get the chance, do it, it is a little pricey, but well worth it. I have posted some pics to view.

Good luck on you SS1000, I would love to try that some day, but dont know if I could stay in the saddle that long with all my problems. Who know maybe one day......I feel lucky to get out these days and do a 100 or so miles, but this summer there is going to be more riding.

All the auctions for St. Jude will be ending around 6 hours from now (aprox. 3:30 pm eastern), there are many auctions that have very low bids ar none at all. So there is still plenty of time to get a very nice St. Jude product and help the "Kids" at St. Jude, and the blind auction is still open with the high bid being under $70.00., a bargain for what you will receive. Many thanks to all those who help support St. Jude now and in the past. Every dollar goes a long way in helping find a cure for this dreaded disease that strikes down our young children.

Just wanted to let the folks bidding on St. Jude auctions know that I made a slight mistake about the ending dates on a few of the auctions. The one that concerns me the most is the Special auction at the top of the listings, the auction is listed as a 30 day auction, but that was not my intent, and Freebird tells me it cant be changed. So when all the other auctions start ending I will end all the auctions that were listed for 30 days. The auction will be showing 15 days left when I end them. Thanks to all that are bidding, I and the "Kids" at St. Jude thank you.

Made a trip to Durham, N.C. with Charlene, Paula, and Jamie to deliver an excerise bike and pick up the trailer I bought from Dana to pull behind the trike. We had a great time with Dana and Missy and their daughter Maddie, she is just another version of Dana, but looks exactly like her mother. We just had a lazy weekend not really doing too much, but we did go do some target practice with a few guns, had I know we were doing that I would have brought more of mine, but Dana had some nice pieces to shoot. Afterwards we went to eat at a wonderful little Italian restaurant where Maddie works, and the food was fantastic. In the evening hours we played a fun game of Mexican Train, and indulged in some adult beverages. That made the game really interesting. We stayed up into the wee hours of the morning playing we were having so much fun. We didnt take many pictures, because we were having to much fun..While we were there Dana had to go to a City Council meeting, which is part of his job at his new white collar position.Almost didnt recognize him, he cleans up pretty good. In the second pic you can see that these two guys were having way too much fun.

Charlene and I both have and carry.

Just finished putting up 16 new auctions for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I hope everyone will take a look, especially at the blind auction that I also have listed. I wont go into detail here, you can read all about it in the auction section. These auctions will run for 15 days, which by the way will be ending before we get back from vacation, so please have patience after they end because it will be a few days before I will get to do anything with them. Please remember, "Its all about the Kids"!
