Go to a Harley dealer and see if they have any Road King pipes they have removed, they will let you have them for next to nothing, several have used them including me on my 1st gen, and I love the sound. Someone here makes an adapter bracket to fit them to the second gen.

Most of us have a head start on them senior citizen lady biker wannabe's. Nothing wrong with that at all..........the first article though............I dont know!!!! About 2 years ago our motorcycle ministry went to a senior home and visited with them during a birthday party for one of them, he turned 82 and had never ridden a motorcycle before and begged us to take him for a ride. We had to make sure he got permission from his family to do so, and they said why not.........so we went back for a cookout and after if was over took him for a ride on Jamie's Wing. We outfitted him with do-rag, vest helmet with intercom and even made him an honorary memmber of our ministry with a patch. He was in hog heaven, all you could hear on the radio was "This is marvelous" over and over...........he didnt want to get off the bike. At Vogel last year we had 2 older ladies, sisters approach us and wanted to ride, so again Jamie volunteered his bike and B2Dad did the same and off they went, they loved it so much they came back later that day and asked if they were to make a donation to St. Jude could they ride again...........so off they went. When they got back the oldest of the 2 told her grandson he needed to buy a bike so they could ride together.............. Your never to old to enjoy life.............I just hope at their age I can do the same.................. -
How many strips did you have to purchase for what you did and can you supply a link? Looks very good!!

Any color except black, gray, or white. For Vogel I stay away from those because they are so common.................But you might want to get a Hot Pink one for Muffin!!!!!!:rotfl:

If you happen to get close to Atlanta, give a shout, if you need to crash, it can be arranged, the Dragon cave has extra tunnels........you can get my cell number on the VR assistance list.

I used to be at the Port of Fourchon, at least 3 times a month when I did courier work before moving to the Atlanta area. It was very easy to have access to any facility down there, you were never challenged or asked for id with the exception of the ship yards that always checked you at the gate, but all you needed was a bill of lading and you were in,without escort most times, anyone could have gotten in there and done a lot of damage, but those were different times, now you have to take precautions at just about any public place be it government or private enterprise. Its a shame how much of our freedoms have been sacrificed for safety...............but if it keeps us safe, I am all for it.

I forgot, the drivers can only see straight ahead, they have spotters to tell them when they can change left or right, so I guess a spotter could tell you when to turn, its nothing but left turns, so shouldnt be too hard with a couple of decent spotters............. The race was a good one, with the exceptions of the 2 stoppages for potholes, wish some of our cities could fix them as fast as NASCAR, but make the fix last a tad longer than 20-30 laps. The racing was good in the final segment, and I liked the new rule changes letting them police their own, like someone once said "Rubbin is Racin", and 3 chances for a green flag finish......... And Beer, whats wrong with JG, he aint stinking up the place by winning all the time, not that it would bother me if he did, I happen to like the Hendricks teams, even JR. :soapbox::soapbox:

Believe it or not, we have more snow in the forecast for tonite and tomorrow. not as much as we got on Sat. but still, 3rd snow storm within a months time, someone explain how global warming is affecting this...................

I have a set off of my 83, I do belive they are the same, not perfect, but no wholes or rust out in them, I can take some pics, and post if your interested.
