  1. Thats what I am looking forward to...........................................
  2. Do you already own the Morgan Color Tune, its not the same as the carb tune.
  3. While shopping with the wife last week at BJ's I found a sale rack that had a couple of great deals, one was a NASCAR Experience ride along, normally $129.00 for a 3 lap ride with an instructor driving, on sale for $29.99, and an Indy car ride along for the same price. You have 2 years to use it and can be used at these NASCAR tracks, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Auto Club Speedway, in Ca.,Chicagoland Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Kentucky Motor Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Phoenix Intl. Speedway, Richmond Intl. Speedway, Homestead Miami Speedway, and Myrtle Beach Speedway. They will also allow you to use the ride along card to upgrade to a NASCAR Driving Experience. I couldnt pass it up, so sometime after the first of the year I will be doing my ride along and if I have a rich uncle leave me some money it will get upgraded to a Driving Experience.
  4. The Morgan Carb Tune is the way to go, no mercury, has alum bars that replace the mercury, very easy to use and very durable. Sean Morgan at Morgan has supplied me with at least 7 Carb tunes to be used as prizes at Vogel. They are a very good company and Sean is a very generous business man.
  5. I knew that was coming...................LOL.
  6. We got your back Tricia, keeping you in our prayers, we know all to well about those type of surgeries.
  7. Looks like a Victory air ride to me.............................
  8. Your too young for a trike Skid!!!!!
  9. Craig, you are gonna love 3 wheeling, I do, especially when the wife rides with me. If I would have been closer, a lot closer I would have been thinking about it. I love my 93, but I know the wife would be more comfortable on a 2nd Gen. When I ride alone I go on my 87, so I have the best of both worlds. Welcome to the tripod club.
  10. When he says flip it, he means to resell it at a profit, not flip over...........................
  11. Sorry for posting this so late, but neglected to take a computer with me on our ride to St. Jude Children's Hospital last week. After we left St. Jude we headed down to S. La. to visit with our son and his family for a few days. Just got back last nite and crashed immediately, didnt get much sleep as I forgot to take my C-pap machine with me, so I got very little sleep till last night. Very dissapointing turnout this year, only 6 other people showed up at the Flying J, one VR member and his wife and the others were from the North Alabama Road Riders. Many thanks to them for showing up and bringing more donations to add to our total. The weather wasnt the best this year as it was rainy and chilly, I am thinking that is what kept attendance down, but on a high note, I am very pleased to say our donation was very nice. Total donation for 2015 was............................$3328.00. Thanks to all who participated in helping us get to this amount. Overall attendance was down at Vogel also this year, but the giving rose to the level we would normally attribute to a much larger crowd. Thanks again to everyone who attended Vogel and the NY rally, and to all who participated in the St. Jude Auctions. I have attached some pictures of the attendee's and of the patient art done by the "Kids" at St. Jude.
  12. Tower
  13. Thats kinda high Dan, I just sold my 05, got back exactly what I paid for it. Bought it from my son with the family discount, 3 years later with 138,000 miles on it and I got back exactly what I paid for it. I wouldnt go much over $4500.00 for the one you are looking at. Mine was a great vehicle, never let me down, I only put about 30,000 miles on it in three years.
  14. It ain't gonna happen...........
  15. Just a little over a week till we meet at the Flying J/Pilot truck stop for our annual lunch and ride to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Come on out, hope to see plenty of people there. Remember "Its all about the Kids".
  16. Lately, every ride I take is a good ride, since getting the 87 and getting it running faster than I expected to, I haven't taken the trike out, if Charlene isn't up to a ride on the trike then I take the 87 out and didn't think I was really missing out, then after getting familiar with the bike, I can't get enuff of riding it.
  17. I will buy some from you, I need a couple and never hurts to have spares.
  18. Its not too late to commit to the ride to St. Jude...............come on out, you will have fun, and be touched at the same time.
  19. Great story on Hwy. 421, "The Snake". Has anyone ridden this road, sounds like a good place to host an event, located near Bristol, Tn. https://roadtrippers.com/stories/421-the-snake?lat=40.80972&lng=-96.67528&z=5
  20. I will attempt to make a mold of one, if not, I might be able to get one off and send it to you. I would have to make 1 for each side.
  21. It is a type of thermal plastic, and plastic can be chromed now, the ones on my trike are plastic I think, havent really checked them out closely.
  22. Yep, they sure could, I wonder if they could be made with a 3D Printer, if so some one could recoup their money by making some.
  23. Well if you have a bike that has a little rash there its a very easy way to cover it up without having to sand, fill, paint............................and cheaper too.
  24. They seem to be as rare as hens teeth...................
  25. What I am looking for are the chrome accent pieces that go on the upper corners of the fairing under the mirrors. These are for a 1st Gen. I have them on my 93 trike and would like to find a decent set for my 87 Royale. I believe they were manufactured by Ventureline.
