Awesome looking bike, how does it ride? Yamaha really needs to update their venture series bikes or folks are going to keep moving on to another builder. I absolutely love my RSMV, but I know that with the advances in engineering and such, there is better rides out there. Was totally impressed with the feel and ride of the Victory Vision, but was not crazy about the look, and didn't want payments on anything in this economy. Would love to hear what you think of the bike after you put on a few thousand miles, enjoy your new ride!!!!

The stuff is in all three grades, so there is no getting away from it. And this 15% blend comes to us via 54 ethanol manufacturers who petitioned congress to sell more of the c#*#. The US consumer sure didn't want it.

yeah, he is right, because before youknow it she will be all grown up, unfortunately you have to change how you do things for a while, but they are only kids once, and I am sure she will carry the memories of her time with you for life.

After reading this blog I called my mother whose business is responsible for giving over 100,000 flu shots n the last twenty years, and she said she has absolutely never had any of her recipients ever have the type of reaction that you are talking about. She says that on occasion she has had people say that they experienced flu-like symptoms, and soreness on the arm where the shot was given, but that is all. After reading the post to my mom she said it sounded like you either ate something or drank something that was bad, but without knowing all the facts surrounding the incident it is hard to say. I hope you are feeling much better, nothing sucks worse then pushing the porcelain bus around. One other thing she had to ssay was that if this was caused by the shot it needs to be reported to the CDC in Atlanta, because they would be very interested in this case.

I have always kept records on my fuel mileage, lets me know when I got a problem. Anyway, the other day I was able to put 90 octane, ethanol free gas in the tank. What a difference. The bike ran better then it ever has, sounded better, and looking at my records, I got 41 mpg, on the interstate, doing 80mph, where I normally get only 36-37mpg. I plan on running another tankful of ethanol free gas through thebike again just to see if that holds true. I have added the star-tron to my fuel, and yes it seems to help my mileage but just a little, maybe a extra mile to the gallon. Ii have only been riding for 2 years, would like to know what you guys did for mileage on your RSV's before ethanol.

will they have "venture rider" logo on it? -
Sorry to hear you didn't get the bike, but if it makes you feel any better, I have a Toyota Tacoma double cab and it is a great truck, only thing I ever have to do is change the oil, very dependable.

go to the community title on the second blue bar and you can get a state by state listing of members, you will be surprised how many venture riders are around you.

My wife complains a lot when we ride, so I tend to leave her at home when I can.

I have read all of the previous threads on this post and being a fairly new rider I really look at what you folks are saying and try working the scenarios out in my head because I know I will probably need it in the future, but one thing that I have noticed is that in all the accidents and near accidents that you have discussed one thing is present: you were not seen by the cager, so my question is this: in your years of riding have you found any one thing that makes you more visible to the other guy?

yeah, the WHINING noise gets old after a while, even the radio blastin doesn't drown it out, so my last ride I left the wife at home, had a really enjoyable, peaceful ride.

My daddy was born and raised in Wisconsin, and in March, 1960 he went to Pensacola, FL for a job interview and saw palm trees and walked bare footed on the beach, while it was snowin back in Geen Bay, he called momma and told her to pack the kids and they moved to Florida and never looked back, and boy am I glad he did. The temps are gettin good here in S Florida, and who knows, maybe I can start wearin a jacket next month. Time for you northerners to ride south!!

After talking to you was wondering whose kids you had, had to laugh when I realized it was your dogs. Nice thing about that is you don't have to keep them entertained.
