THIS IS WHY THE US NEEDS TO DRILL!!!! this is ridiculous that every time the middle east has a hissy fit, our gas prices go up!!! I worked in the oilfields running boats for 5 years, and the people I talked to said we have a lot of oil in our own backyard. Time to start drilling and producing our own oil, and stabilize the economy.

Its funny, I have never been to the mountains, ever. All my life has been spent on the water, so it is all new to me. I have run boats from Maine to Panama, and all points in between, but am absolutely clueless when it come to mountains and the dangers and problems they may be present.

HI folks, after doing some searching I have found no riding tips for when your in the mountains dealing with inclines and such. Having never spent anytime in the mountains at all, I am looking forward to this summer as I will be living up in the NE for five months and look forward to spending a lot of time in the mountains, so any riding tips would be much appreciated. I also did some searching on Ironbutting, as I will be making some really long trips this summer also, so any tips for when you are going to be in the saddle all day would also be very helpful. Thanks for your time guys, really do look forward to the advice you have to offer.

It has been a couple years since I have been to a launch, but you park alongside US1 in Titusville by the water. And boy can you FEEL the power, really is amazing. Have seen plenty of launches from my house in Port St Lucie, but that is 80 miles away, not like being there. On another note, might be in your neck of the woods this summer, going to be in Mass for five months with the bike, planned on doing Nova Scotia for my vacation if things go right, would like to drop you a line if I do, find out where I need to go, will have ten days of riding time, and would like to get the most out of it.

That is a tough question, I think it is awesome that they have that much respect for you, I know the job comes with a good pay raise, but you act hesitant. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate already, is it worth the extra hassles and responsibilities, you only have one life, this is not a dress rehearsel, you have to ask yourself if you can be chief and still have time to do the things you love? The grass is not always greener. Good luck, and let us know what you do.

If you can go watch a shuttle launch, DO IT!!!! and don't skimp, go watch it from the shoreline in titusville, it is truly amazing. The traffic is not that bad, go early, and afer the launch wait a hour and then leave, traffic clears up pretty quick. there is no describing the power of a blastoff, you just cannnot believe the energy that is released, and if you are coming from way up northand are going to come this far you would be crazy not to get close. I have seen 2 launches from titusville and it was worth dealing with the traffic, most awesome thing I have ever witnessed.

I run a big sportfish with big diesel engines, which burns a lot of diesel, and leaves a huge carbon footprint, but I love to go sailing. DON'T TELL MY CAPTAIN BUDDIES CAUSE THEY WOULD NEVER LET ME HEAR THE END OF IT!!!!

you asked about a luggage rack, I got a Show Chromeoff of e-bay for 100.00, and they paid the shipping, just have to watch for a few weeks and it comes up. The Yammy rack was like 200.00 bucks but didn't see what was worth the extra 100.00 bucks. and the rack looks good on the back of my RSMV. -
Send a message to Gary N., he has a setup on the back of his bike and could give you some info on what your asking.

Looks great, and it is definitely good to be seen!! I need to do the conversion on the turn signals, looks like it helps out quite a bit.

Like ragtop said, be honest with your kids, stay in contact and let them know you are trying, just don't give up on them, and keep a good head on your shoulders.
