gave myself a week off to go to Houston and see my mom and do a little fishing over at Galveston.Just got to tell the wife about it now. sneaky snake

Since I got thr harley back on Nov.6 I have put about 2200 miles on it and that was with 8 days of heavy rain that kept me shout down.But for the last week it has been great weather except for the 1 day of winter old Hip talked about .By Sun.will have ridden in are been a part of 6 of 7 PGR events and put a lot of miles on.I missed one today cause I needed a new tire put on.but I will b e back on the road tomorrow and Sunday.Tomorrow will be a pleasure ride Sun.will be a pgr event welcoming home 2 brothers for Iraq for a surprise party neither one knows the other is comming home .We will escourt them from the Airport across town to the American Leigon hall.Then a big ole Texas style Bar B Que .So for all of you with cabin fevor I got ya covered. Ron PS and after all the miles on this bike 31000 ain't nuton fell off yet.

well I am ready to park it for a day got to have a new back tire put on tomorrow and have put about 540 miles on in the last 3 days. I am with hip glad our 1 day of winter is over.

I read the whole list both the old one and the new one and in all of those bikes I only saw 1 person who had a 1982 Honda cb 900 custom.why did no one like this 10 speed bike ???.I love mine but it needs all the calipers rebuilt and I dont know how and dont have the tools to di it so it just sits with just 14,000 miles on it. snake

As a matter of fact I will wear dress Greens again tomorrow (Mon.) For the County wide service and as a member of the Honor Guard Have to wear them on a regular basis.

Both my Dress Blues and Dress Greens Still fit but unlike some of the others I know in this family I still weigh about the same as as 25 years ago just gone up 1 inch in the waist

Rattlesnake well the reason I use that and only use it here by the way is because back in 1999 I was trying to save a rattlesnake from getting run over in the hi-way and wound up getting bit .Spent 12 day in ICU but saved the snake.And still love messing with any kind of snake.The guys I worked with started calling me Rattlesnake.

I thought for sure he would rat on me to you guys ,guess he was to busy riding my KZ 1000 . I didn't get the Venture but I did get a H D Ultra Classic. It is a nice ride rode it 500 plus miles over the weekend and love it. Got to get used to the difference in balance thought between it and the Police bike. Ron

Yesterday I had reason to meet many of the Patriot Gurd Riders and they came through like the true champions they are .It was so good of my fellow riders to show up in such force in the middle of the week that it blew me away.For those of you who did not know yesterday I had the honor of meeting many of the PGR who showed up to escort a close friend and my past Fire Chief and was a veteran of Iwo Jima.I even saw a couple of Ventures in the group.And today there must have been at least 6 or 7 hundred bikes and they are still comming through heading down to South Padre Island for the big rally and saw a couple more in those bikes.Still looking for mine .Just aint found it yet.But as for as the PGR guys I was proud to ride with you and even though it was a sad day and my birthday as well it was a super birthday present to have you there. Thanks Ron P.S.Hip ypu could of at least sent me an e-mail saying happybday Freebird did.

After seeing what some other people on here are paying for the same bike I put a hold on this one till I shop around some more. Some got a drive out cheaper than this one list for which is 17,399 drive out just over 20,000.There has got to be a better deal out there close to me. Ron
