  1. My dentist referred me to an oral surgeon
  2. My wife told me I could get a whole set of dentures alot cheaper.
  3. Went to the dentist a few months back and he suggested I look into getting implants for the 4 back teeth I am missing. After several office visits with the oral surgeon and $400 later they tell me my insurance will not cover any of it and that the cost will be $10,000. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around paying that much money for teeth I have been missing for 20 years. Has anyone had implants put in and was it worth it?
  4. I have a GoPro using a RAM mount on the handle bars, one of the guys in the PGR has a onboard DVR with 2 cameras says his wife made him get it. http://www.eyespypro.com/products/Compact-4-Camera-Vehicle-DVR-With-H.264-Compression-3G-and-GPS.html
  5. I did a carb sysnch last night and I have found a very bright flashlight helps otherwise I just give it a stab and hope for the best.
  6. Got it going and had a good visit, I did have to call in a tech assist from Rusty (Beau-Kat) and after talking to him we discovered one of the carb boots was not tightened down after that it synched up real easy and Randy was off. Waiting on a trip report to see if that took care of his issues. I really liked the way he has customized his midnight it looks really sharp.
  7. Give me a shout and let me know when is good for you and I will ride up. My number is on my profile.
  8. Randy Have you synched the carbs? If you do not have a carb synch come by and I will help you with it or I can come by if you do not want to run it. The pilot jets may be clogged and they are hard to unclog. You may need to let the seafoam set in the carbs for awhile also. Before you rebuild give them a good cleaning. Where are you in Charleston?
  9. Come on down
  10. Hope it clears up so yall can get out and ride, I put 600 miles on the bike this weekend
  11. Looks like the way to go this will be my first time going.
  12. What kind of seat did you use?
  13. Who and what's MD?
  14. Amazon has one used and e-bay has a few.
  15. I really liked the World's_______ targets so I think I will stick with a similar theme and go with you, your bike and a historic first. Can be a site or marker if the first no longer exist.
  16. Miles thanks I saw something about that on the news, I will check with my daughter to see which way is best.
  17. I hit the railroad for the world's first railroad junction. I goggled "world's longest" and got a hit for the Edisto and went with it. After I had posted my daughter asked me isn't the Amazon a black water river? Well duh guess everything you read on the Internet is not true, go figure. Will keep looking, not a total loss I put 200 miles on the bike looking.
  18. Thinking about going to see the grand kids after MD and curious if anyone could recommend a route other than the Interstates to take?
  19. Dan I am planning on going up 77 right now, unless I am by myself and then I may do some exploring on the way up.
  20. Got one possible.
  21. Thought it was interesting that a River in SC was the longest blackwater river in the World. Here is a pic of me over the Edisto river and also close by was the site of the world's first railroad junction. http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx248/etcswjoe/Bike%20Rides/Scavenger%20Hunts/IMG_5107_zpsf3b3b7a6.jpg http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx248/etcswjoe/Bike%20Rides/Scavenger%20Hunts/IMG_5117_zpsd8ba4c97.jpg http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx248/etcswjoe/Bike%20Rides/Scavenger%20Hunts/IMG_5111_zpsd7dcbc5b.jpg http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx248/etcswjoe/Bike%20Rides/Scavenger%20Hunts/IMG_5114_zps7747a8ca.jpg http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx248/etcswjoe/Bike%20Rides/Scavenger%20Hunts/IMG_5118_zpse42c631f.jpg
  22. Look for a very little toggle switch near the aux power plug on the fairing.
  23. Hope all goes well, sending up prayers.
  24. From what I see it's less than an hour to put it back together.
