  1. Earl, Give me a call when you get in. Joe
  2. Are we meeting at the resort or does someone have a good place in mind? I am not at all familiar with Myrtle Beach.
  3. Sure sounds like the fuel pump, try bypassing the fuel pump and see if it runs. You can replace the pump with an aftermarket for around $50 if you do not want to shell out the money for an OEM.
  4. Welcome to the site and hope you have a great ride and if you come near Charleston give me a shout.
  5. Have fun !!
  6. The price is $119,000 and orders are now being accepted with a $1,500 deposit with deliveries planned for 2014.
  7. There are several VR members in your area and I am sure one of them would be glad to look at your bike with you. If it is it the sound that is keeping you from going over 70 I would not worry about it since the rev limiters on these bikes are set well below the point where you will do any damage. I have hit the rev limiter in each gear (just to see for myself) and 75 is really nothing for these bikes. On my bike 75 is a sweet spot and it quiets down and just purrs.
  8. Welcome and glad you are enjoying it.

  11. Brent Evans lives Pickerington and rides a silver RSV but he is not a member here.
  12. Skid, How about we meet up at your place around 1000 and go from there? I am not familiar with Myrtle that much. Is that good with you two?
  13. Looks like Tuesday would work out best. So where and when?
  14. I don't remember any place where it could go down in the engine, it may be on it's side and hard to see along the valve train but if you heard it fall for any amount of time it may be wedged between the frame and the engine if it did not hit the floor.
  15. Also check continuity of the wires from the regulator connector to the battery especially the ground.
  16. Mike, Where did you buy the mosfet R/R from? Thanks
  17. So far the OEM one is the only one that worked, Rick sent me a new HO one like the one I had when I bought the HO Stator and it has worked for two days now and about 60 miles so will see if things are good now or not, it took the last one 500 miles to fail.
  18. I would not feel comfortable riding on tires that had sat that long they may have developed flat spots too.
  19. I think you are better off, you can't trust those even number Chiefs anyway
  20. That's my next step.
  21. We like to hit the little mom and pop wineries on our journeys.
  22. Depends on how close I was to the neighbor, If he was not one of my best friends I would have told him to go home.
  23. I figured a retired Radioman could make his own antennas
  24. Says it is a Venture S and the color is intense black so I am assuming it's a midnight. The salesman is supposed to call me today for my answer.
