I second the adapter, I put mine on the fender right behind the seat and ran the wiring in a loom under the chrome rail that the fenders mount to.

I like them but I am too cheap to buy a new one.

I second the head bearing, if that does not take care of it check your tires front and rear.

It's usually a safe bet to stick with the OEM stuff, I will admit that there have been several mods that have not worked for me as well as others and I have went back to stock because it worked.

Well the Harley did not last long sold it yesterday, the guy was like a kid in a candy store. I put 3000 miles on it and it just did not live up to the Venture.

Rode in the mountains of Va this weekend and what an improvement over stock even if I did install it upside down.

Fast is not a positive attribute in this case

I have the larger version in the same color Monty had and I really like it and you can still get parts through California Sidecar. The bearings are available almost any hardware or auto parts store. I rewired mine, changed everything over to LED and replaced the bearings just to be on the cautious side. So far we have pulled it about 10000 miles. Wonder what happened to yours?

The cruise control on our bikes stink, like Rusty said hit set then resume I have to hit mine twice real quick after I hit set and it works. Another thing to check is you cable tension if it is too tight the cruise will act up.
