  1. Same here but if the price is right you might look at modifying it to meet your needs.
  2. If any one wants to ride up to MD, we will be leaving Charleston Thursday at 0800 meeting up with Jim at Walmart in Statesville Nc at noon then on to Blacksburg Va for the night, leave Blacksburg at 0700 Friday morning and arrive at Don's by 1500.

  6. I am half way ready for Maintenance Day, I changed my brake lines, rebuilt my master cylinders, changed my brake pads, new tires, changed stator and put new regulator in. Now all I need to do is service my trailer, check out my camping gear and pack.

  8. I might defect if they had more passenger and leg room.
  9. Even with speed bleeders it took a good half an hour of pumping to clear all the air.
  10. i just went through the same thing and if you put the seals on as shown in the parts diagram you probally did not put them in correctly. Make sure the seals look just like the old one and when you bleed them make sure the bike is upright.

I did this mod awhile back and used the adapter it is listed in the classifieds. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/photopost/showproduct.php?product=4&title=aux-lighting-harness-for-2nd-gen-venture&cat=18 I liked the way you ran the wires in the bag rails, I was lazy and just used snakeskin and tied wrapped the wires to the rails.

  18. I got the seal over the lip fairly easy and finished the rebuild with expert help for just 12 dollars a year
  19. Any idea how to get seal over the tab on the piston?
  20. Started to rebuild my front master cylinder and when I went to put the piston back in I noticed the rubber seal on the piston that came out is not in the same place as the parts diagram shows. I have attached pic of both, which one is correct? The top one is the new one and the bottom one is the one I removed.
