  1. Virginia tried this a few years ago, I don't think it went over very well.
  2. I finally broke down and bought a smart phone last winter and I have realized it does everything well except make and receive phone calls.
  3. Glad you are ok and thanks for sharing.
  4. I had one leak and rode it for a few weeks before it let loose but that was only around town and one up, I went cheap and bought a used one online that only lasted a couple thousand miles so in the long run a new one will save you money.
  5. Cool, glade it is healing well
  6. This diagram was for a specific model microphone but can be adapted to pretty much anyone. PDF file of simplified diagram Mic (1).pdf White/Blue and Black/White wires for PTT in fairing Adapter plugged into headset jack Adapter and microphone Adapter and microphone
  7. You can build an adapter fairly easy, I have posted pictures and diagrams before on how to do it, I will search for them when I get home this evening.
  8. In our thoughts and prayers.
  9. Cool.
  10. Also make sure there are not wires or tubes in the way.
  11. I bought a scratch and dent windshield from Clearview (still have not found the scratch) a couple of years ago and I was amazed at the difference it makes. I also have a Bagger Shield on my other Venture but have only switched it around once and I do not like how it acts in the rain.
  12. Plug or tow is the only way I know how to take care of a 2nd gen flat tire on the road, looks like you must have hit that piece just wrong. I hear those folks up in Johnson City are decent folks.
  13. In South Carolina if you are a veteran with any disability at all the state waives the $50 fee.
  14. Randy, Go here. http://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/ My cousin got my uncles this way even though his records were destroyed in the fire.
  15. I ordered new stock ones, I had the screws come loose when I replaced my first one (that is how I knew about the buzz) I either did not let the Loctite cure or I did not clean the holes out good enough. I cleaned the holes out and waited 24 hours before I reassembled everything and good to go.
  16. A member smarter than me shared that the part numbers translate to the size on most screws and bolts, the stator screw part number is 98507-06035-00 so the "06" is 6mm diameter the "35" is 35mm long.
  17. Does it sound like a buzz? If so one or more of the bolts are loose.
  18. Cannot tell about the drain plug the whole area looks very wet, at the first part of the video it looks like you are sucking in air at the top of the carb boots make sure they are tight but be careful not to strip the screws out.
  19. Too bad it does not work on the actual bike
  20. He is talking to you Steve @eagleeye
  21. Only Mcaffe, Norton does not see it as a threat will have to check it out. Thanks!
  22. My Antivirus, threw up a warning about going to their page.
  23. I believe you are correct.
  24. We stopped at a place next to the Sunoco in Cleveland called Burly Bob's or something like that, just a trailer and some picnic tables was pretty good. Will have to look for the Lady in the RV next time we are up that way.
