    Thanks, started back to school in March to finish up my engineering degree and I forgot how much time school consumes.

    I have had a patched tire on my old Venture for about 12K miles now and it leaks down a few pounds over a couple weeks but I still ride it, I will not ride two up with it if that tells you anything. I cheaped out because it was a brand new tire but is it the cost of a tire worth the chance?

    My biggest question is how hard is it going to be to maintain? With all the gadgets and extras I really do not see this as a shade tree mechanic bike.

    Thankful you are still here to tell us about it, praying for a speedy recovery. Don't let your docs or insurance short change you on checking you out, it took years for some of my issues to show.

    Battery is probably shot, but check your connections and the main fuse.

    Good point, I will check the boxes and see if I can find any that will fit. The two I bought were probably form the same lot is why they were the same.

    I have been using Bosch 3323 oil filters for several years now, however I bought two recently and discovered that they have slightly changed the plate that screws onto the bike so it no longer has room to fit onto the bike.

I am not home so I don't have my service manual but look in yours under replacing the oil pump and see.
