I had a similar experience at the Victory dealer in Summerville, SC. My wife and I pulled up on my bike jeans t-shirts we had been riding all day. I went in and was looking at their touring bike and after being ignored for 10 mins I said in a loud voice I guess we will buy that Ultra after all and left. I should share my experience with Victory also. I guess they just do not want to sell any bikes.

I ran across a website http://pure-gas.org that list stations that carry non-ethonal fuela and it has been pretty spot on so far.

It took me along time before I was able to comfortably ride after I dislocated/broke mine. Not sure how closely related the two are not saying I did not ride -

Well I dropped my dime and payed, still had six days on my trial but after meeting with the group this past weekend and all the great interaction with the folks on here I was already hooked. :cool10:

I think I would belive anything a dealer did, one of the dealers here in Charleston said it would cost me $120 :shock3:just to check to see if my tire was in round.

:2cents:Had the same thing happen to my 83 all I did was take it off put it in the kitchen sink and washed it real good with mild dish degergent then put conditioner on it.

I have done so many I just thank God I am still alive. One example long ago: I had bought a new (used bike) and was driving on a gravel road and hit the breaks too hard and you guessed it down I went, the worst damage was a broken mirror and my pride.

I need to get off my lazy rear end and go ahead and pay. I have already enjoyed 8 bays of my 15 day trial and especially after my first meet and eat I am hooked.

Monty, Can you send me the reference the only thing I could find Federal says either that is the 2008 revision of the nhtsa regulation? Once I figure out how to turn it off, I will aim my head light and see how it looks. The pics defiantly paint a good picture. One thing I have noticed my netural light flashes at the same rate as the modulator so does the modulator put more draw on the system?

My bike had them when I bought it, low beam only. I am still on the fence whether I like it or not. I was in a group ride yesterday and the person in front of me said he could not see my headlight only the driving lights so I am not sure if it is actually doing any good.

I have a similar problem with my rear tire it's .25 inches out of round and makes the bike feel like it's hopping at slow speeds and floating at high speed took me awhile to figure out it was the rear tire. I thing I flat spotted it during the Motorcycle Safety course.

We really enjoyed ourselves need to find a place around Charlotte so it will not be as long of a ride for David and Laura. I have been looking at places around here that would be good also.

Your welcome. What a great bunch of folks!! I am not accustomed to being in the pictures either, I am usually the shutterbug so maybe now Bobbie will be in more pics too. I knew it was a good sign when we had almost identical cameras. I think my next trip to Norfolk instead of flying I am going to ride and hopefully I can meet some new Venture Riders on the way.
