etcswjoe replied to painterman67's topic in Watering Hole
I took the MSF course in July and the U-turn was the hardest part it took lots of practice and I finnally got it in the box they wanted. I think the instructor said it was 12 feet, I did hit the line on the graded test but I still passed. Congrats on the "M" for maniac as my Dad use to say.- 15 replies

That seems like a fair price, I was looking for one a couple months ago and all the ones in decent shape were more than a grand.

I would buy it.

My final gear does not look anything like yours it came out gray, no burnt smell or anything. I just changed it with the last oil change because I did not know when the previous owner changed it. I take it the gray oil is Dino oil? Any precautions to take switching to synthetic?

I belive so. Best way to find out would be jump on one and go. Problem is you may not want to come back.

Front Axle Socket Size?
etcswjoe replied to etcswjoe's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Thanks for the info, however I must not have a stock axle. A 7/8 SAE almost fits it so I am thinking 22mm. I must have missed the the sizes on the thread old age I guess. . -
