WD40 will displace water however will draw dust, if you use a contact cleaner make sure it is safe for plastics (they will say). When you clean switch contacts don't use a file or sandpaper it will score the contacts. A light emery cloth or even a pencil eraser will work if you can get to the contact. The drawback with physically cleaning contacts is you can bend the contact arm and it will not make proper contact (depends on type of switch).

I like my focus but It's not as fun as our other cars. http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx248/etcswjoe/Our%20Cars/Sad_SamCrop.jpg

I agree, looks like fun. In my younger days When we used to climb towers and mast to do Antenna maintenance we would mess with new guys by making the tower sway real bad:whistling:, you would be surprised how much they move.

Went to look at a 2000 MM and the bike had several scratches on the front fairing. When I asked the guy about them he told me a young man came and looked at the bike and when he was pulling out of the driveway to test ride it he turned it over. What really amazed me was the kid told the guy selling it he was asking too much because he had scratches on it now. The bike was not registered or insured and the owner finally had the scratches fixed I am not sure if he ever sold it.

How much of the error is because of non-OEM tires? :2cents:Comparing my GPS to the speedo 8% off is pretty close to my error and I am running Venoms.

IMHO it sounds suspect to me. I found the exact same listing in about half a dozen other cities. -
I am truly sorry for the loss of your friend, our prayers go out to you, his friends and family.

I was riding my bike behind my brother and he was on his Harley with straight pipes for 2 hours, it was just too loud. I like nice sounding pipes but i see why people do not like the really LOUD ones.

When I rode up to Va two weeks ago my Street Pilot had me off track by almost 50 miles probably would have been more if I had not know that Danville Va is not on the way to Blacksburg.

You can do like I did and buy a 12V plug in USB P/S at almost any auto parts store and either plug it into the 12V port or buy a usb panel mount feed through connector and wire it up inside the fairing. Here is an example of the panel mount. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=usb+panel+mount&oe=UTF-8&cid=9974967906243247161&ei=CGyPTJi7EYWwxQXIpaCgBA&sa=title&ved=0CFcQ8wIwBjgA#p
