My prayers go out to you and your family.

I have used it since it came online, however make sure you double check the sources or view the original document the typed in information tends to have errors when it gets copied. Most libraries have free access if you want to try it.

Red cross messages are no joke as soon as the command gets them they have to notify the service member immediattly. Just remember that it may take him a little while to respond.

How much modification would you have to do to make it fit?

Don't tell my brother he rode my bike last week and said he had to have a touring bike and went and bought a new Ultra. Tried to get him on a Venture but you know those hardcore Harley riders.

:2cents:My standard response to "What's Up?": A two letter word indicating vertical direction, however I would think someone of your vast knowledge would know this.

It sounds like it may be a heating problem in the CB itself. I take it all your other audio functions work fine? Do you have to do anything to it to get it to stop working other than ride? If you are transmitting quite a bit you may have a VSWR issue.

They can't get rid of the cassette player It holds my MP3 player perfectly

Had a similar issue, figured out it was the control cable connection it would draw moisture at night and once it was dried out it worked. Cracked open the fairing cleaned and reconnected the cable little dielectric grease and I was good to go.

Enjoyed seeing everyone yesterday and meeting some more great folks. Curious how many of you stopped by the DQ afterwards? We went to the Harley dealer afterwards and my brother almost bought an Ultra but someone else bought it before he could even test drive it. I told him it was a sign to buy a RSV. I have heated grips and I am not too thrilled with them, below 40 I could feel them on my palms but did not do much for the back of my hands (with gloves).
-
Looks like they may have the Marshall mod so either VR or the Venturers possibly.

Passing Lamp Installation
etcswjoe replied to Freebird's topic in Computer, Lights, Horns, Other Electrical
Found these two definitions online. Driving Lights Driving lights are used to supplement the high beams for greater distance and width; they should be used only in conjunction with the high beams. Aim the centers of the beams at the same level as your high beam tape marks on the wall. Keep in mind that the height requirements vary from state to state, as seen in the chart. In some states it is required that auxiliary lights respond automatically to the fluctuations of the high and low beams. In such cases, alterations to the wiring will be necessary. As for the horizontal setting of the lights, this is a matter of personal preference. You might prefer lighting the sides of the road at a distance rather than concentrating the majority of light down the middle of the road. Passing Lights Passing lights are used to supplement the low beams to provide a more complete and uniform pattern. Aim the centers of the beams at the same level as your low-beam tape marks, or even slightly lower. Again, keep in mind that height requirements vary from state to state. Consult the enclosed chart and your local regulations. The horizontal setting of the lights is a matter of personal preference. A slight overlap of the beams in the center will give evenly distributed light all the way across the road, as well as very good width. A greater overlap of the beams, on the other hand, will increase the center light and reduce the overall width of the lights.
