  1. It's probably in the haystack with the needle. Yes I know that is lame but it's all I can think of.
  2. http://www.navsource.org/archives/05/0557907.jpg Never heard that one before interesting.
  3. I am new at this so bear with me: You, Your Bike in front of a Military Historical Marker or Memorial. Extra points if it is before WWII. I do plan on being at MD it will be nice to meet all the folks from here. The RR crossing sign was on the Old Charleston Navy base about 25 miles from my house. I never noticed it before till it became a target.
  4. Ok, Here is my attempt, I left work an lo and behold there it was. If I had waited a little while I could have got the train too.
  5. Figure About 10MB per min for a streaming video depending on quality. Since you have Sat Internet I would guess you have between a 200 and 400MB a day cap?
  6. In a nut shell any time you receive anything it is consider downloading. Streaming is just a method that allows you to watch a video as it is being downloaded. Any information you receive via your connection is a download. If you open the properties of your network connection it will tell how much you have downloaded (received) and uploaded (transmitted). Some ISP’s do have exceptions to the count, however with more users everyday they are getting stricter about bandwidth usage, hope this helps.
  7. I saw a Light Blue Venture on North Rhett Ave in North Charleston yesterday.
  8. Yamaduck has a handheld mike on his, you may want to ask him.
  9. I have only been a member since August, however I already feel like part of the family. Great site, great people, but pot stirrers never
  10. Ok. What am I doing wrong? I tried to put a Venture sighting on the map yesterday and could not get it to work. Any tips?
  11. They do look vaguely familiar, I think I have seen them somewhere before. http://i760.photobucket.com/albums/xx248/etcswjoe/Pawleys%20Porch%202/IMG_1005.jpg
  12. Bike fest is in Roanoke April 15-17th make it a combination. http://www.blueridgebikefest.com/index.html
  13. That's why they need the sidecar
  14. In the immortal words of my Dad "Have they figured out what caused it yet?"
  15. Ok, It is supposed to be nice tomorrow so I will grab my camera and my daughter to take the picture and get it posted.
  16. The gas tank on the bike is vented to relive the pressure and the fumes are not trapped in an enclosed space. For it being vapor proof I don't have much faith in it but again that's my opinoin and you know what they say about opinions.
  17. Just think only 317 days till Christmas.
  18. Congrats, Have you started shopping for a sidecar yet?
  19. :2cents:I don't think I would go fo it either, having gas inside a hot saddlebag is not my idea of a safe thing, plus I would think the fumes might not be good for the plastic or anything else in the bag.
  20. I thought the thread was talking about the National Anthem (The Star Spangled Banner), I guess I missed the "America The Beautiful comments" I will have to go back and read all the posts again.
  21. Front Page 2003 ran fine for me under windows 7 Beta,
  22. I heard one of the country singers sing the whole thing once and it was nice, first time I had ever heard it sang in it's entirety. Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave? On the shore dimly seen thro' the mists of the deep, Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam, In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream: 'Tis the star-spangled banner: O, long may it wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave! And where is that band who so vauntingly swore That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion A home and a country should leave us no more? Their blood has wash'd out their foul footsteps' pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave: And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave. O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand, Between their lov'd homes and the war's desolation; Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n-rescued land Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserv'd us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause is just, And this be our motto: "In God is our trust" And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
  23. What a beautiful day for a ride today. Meet up with Art (Art 708) this morning before joining up with a local group of riders for a nice 5 hour ride through the back roads of the low country. Art's Mods to his bike looked great the pics he posted did not do it justice. Sorry our newest low country resident could not join us maybe next time.
