    The PO of my bike put the JC Whitney one on and I need to reinforce the underside since there is a hairline crack on one of the holes, it looks ok but I do like the looks of the OEM better. My Yamaha one on my other bike is better structurally, however the chrome seems to wear down real easy.

    I just talked to her and she is sore and in some pain, however looks like she is intact overall the bike is a mess but they did get a trailer to bring it back and most likely will leave in the morning. She has limited computer access and asked me to update her status.

    We will be riding up 26 and 77 from Charleston and stopping in Rural Retreat Va overnight then continuing on up to Ohio.

    Glad it was not more serious, sounds like you might have a decent mechanic. Take it slow to start, maybe find a big parking lot and practice more before he gets on the road.

    Check your battery and connections, I had the same symptoms on a bike before. When the RPMS drop the bttery did not have enough juice to keep it running. Since the starter switch cuts out the lights and other items it would turn over slowly like you describe. Either the battery is borderline or you have corroded connections.

    I told my daughter what the target was and she tells me she has a handle on it so we will see. I guess it helps to have a kid in high school for this one.

    I woud be intersted in tuner/amp and a cassette deck. I want to try to develope some new cables/interfaces and it would be nice to have a test bed.

    I bought the cheapest J&M sierra carries and it works well, next one will be the midrange one just for a little more fidelity.

    I think it should count (not in uniform may be a sticky point) but I think you should get extra points for the LEO being a biker. I found out that they frown upon you taking pictures of the prisions around here to the point they will ask to see your camera.

    I have done that on a few older dirt bikes, dont know how well it would work on newer ones.

    I got mine from New Enough (motorcyclegear.com) and I belive they give a VR discount too. I got small strap on bag just because of the bib I have on my bike.

    If you use site:craigslist.org it should limit it the search to only Craigslist. I am at a loss you would figure we would both get the same results.

    My Dad's boss ran Nascar in the early years best he ever did at Talladega was 24th. I usally don't see too many bikes at the races I know I would not take mine too much traffic.

    The 50 was unallocated we had just picked it up, what you don't see is another 50 two studebaker pickups etc....I think we had around a dozen cars in the yard. I know you may be a redneck if.......
