    My daughter delivered my first grandbaby today at 11:30 Sophia Gracelynn 6lbs 1 oz. Mother and daughter are doing well.

    I went into a national auto parts store and gave them the part number for my spark plugs and before even trying to look them up thay asked what kind of car it was and when I said it was a bike the guy tells me we don't sell motorcycle parts. So the next store I give them the part number the guy comes back 30 seconds later and ask what kind of bike do you have?

    Well I got the show chrome windshield cut down and it looked good and fit ok until I said I think I need to make that mounting hole a little smoother and instead of going nice and slow I got to a hurry and snap needless to say I said allot of expletives. I used a circular saw blade on my dremel tool to cut it and it did really well. If I ever find another windshield with the tabs broke I will git it another shot.

    If you do plug anything into the fairing plug make sure it does not hit your tank when you turn.

    I think your idea of having someone that is experinced with 2up is a great idea. With the suspension just add pressure till it fills right to you (within specs). I ride two up 90 percent of the time and I will tell you it adds another element If your wife would like to talk to mine about it give me a shout.

    On the show chrome windshield I have it's either give it a shot or throw it away, figure it would be fun to try and I won't be out anything.

    I am doing it to a Show-chrome windshield that I broke the tabs off the bottom, I will let you know how it goes.

    Since it is an ABATE thing do you have to wear a helmet? Here is a quote from another forum "That was a really good class, took it today (there was a snow delay on the last date). It is nice to get back to basics and get rid of some bad habits. I did it on the DRZ so the maneuvering wasn't as difficult for me as it was for the cruiser guys. All in all, I would recommend it if you just want to brush up on some basic skills."
