I was assuming celluoid since he said fim but I did not think about the 8mm camcorder tapes. When I had my old celloid tapes done they were warped and the professional guys had the right equipment to compensate for this. If I could have found a 8MM projector I would have done it myself.

I stay pretty much exclusivly at Marriots and very seldom have an issue with internet and once you are a Platinum member they will usally give you a faster speed for free. I also have an "Air Card" that I use on the jobsite and in the car not the fastest but works great.

Look it up Video Train tnsfer in the yellow pages, we have several here in Charleston that do it and they charge per foot of film, I think a 50 ft 8mm cost about 10 bucks to convert. Watch out for cheap deals they do not always take the precautions in handling brittle film.

I have the Rebel wished I had went ahead and got the 60D and bought my lenses separately I was really disappointed with the kit lens. Bobbi just bought a new Canon so she may weigh in. I rode one a while back and it was hard getting use to the automatic transmission. They do a real good job balancing them I don't think I would like to do too many twistys on it.

This would be my best deffinition too, most of the dongles we use are for video cards to split into two outputs.
