  1. From height? I may be able to get 20 feet Will see what I can find.
  2. Sounds Good I may have to get inventive here in the "Low Country" Something Like this work?
  3. My CPAP has a 12VDC plug on it so I use a small SLA battery to power it when no other outlets are available or you can use an inverter if yours does not have one.. Also you may be able to get up with someone else going and split a room.
  4. Enjoy and be carefull cagers are probally not expecting bikes.
  5. I hear Algiers is about the same as when I lived there.
  6. Stay outside the City near the airport, parking downtown is scarce and expensive. Unless you are a party type person the French Quarter is a 1-2 day max visit hit Cafe Dumond and The French Market. The steam boat rides are ok and the River Walk is a Mall like attraction that is ok. The Plantations are a nice to see but the roads to them are not the greatest. If you like Tabasco ride down to Avery Island and see how they make it. Crawfish will just be out of peak season but you should still be able to find some. To me the food is the main attraction I can send you some of my favorite places if you want but most are off the beaten path. If you are into Gambling Biloxi is about 2 hours east of NOLA and has a ton of casino's on the beach Harrah's is in NOLA but do not park at the casino.
  7. They sure have welcomed me in and helped me out too. Just have to watch out for the Navy guys.
  8. $5 at Best buy for a Belkin 12 foot s-video cable.
  9. Radio Shack has a VGA to composite video adapter for 80 bucks put you can find them much cheaper online. Since your TV has a s-video plug you can buy a VGA-to s-video cable real cheap. Look at New Egg and Tiger Direct. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882339047 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5265734&CatId=467 or you can buy a high density D-15 connector and a s-video connector and build your own only takes about 15 mins to build.
  10. You will be fine, our prayers are with you. When I had surgery in the Navy I woke up towards then end could not feel anything but a vibration no pain. When I had surgery in the civilian world I slept through the whole thing other than being very hungry I was good.
  11. I try to stay as far away from that place during bike week as possible. Anyone coming by Charleston SC are welcome to stop by our place.
  12. Thanks,
  13. Welcome back
  14. You have to have an adapter to use the FD lenses and it increases the focal length 1.2 so unless it is a really good FD it's not worth it.
  15. Only if your diabetic.
  16. I was a diehard Canon fan till I bought their SLR, the camera is ok but the lens quality is nowhere near NIKKOR lenses.
  17. Did you see if the library had it or Army online in their audio book section?
  18. Thats my issue, I think I have ridden past a dozen.
  19. I deal almost exclusivly with B&H (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/675617-REG/Canon_4462B001_Canon_EOS_Rebel_T2i.html )I have had great service and they usally have good prices. I don't like the Kit lens so I would reccomend buying the body only and getting a lens that suits your needs. The company you dealt with sounds like a company in New Jersy that seems to change names every so often.
  20. Good News, will keep her and your family in our prayers.
  21. Went to a brief the other day about Social Media and the way people, companies and countries exploit it and it was a wake up call. If you use those sites be very proactive, post as little personal information as possible especially schedules, travel or anything about what you do. If someone has your mothers maiden name, kids names and birthdate they can add themselves to one of your accounts fairly easily and all that is available on 3/4ths of people profiles. If you talk about work even innocent things can be used against you and unless you personally know all your "friends" they could very easily be someone possing as someone else. Rule of thumb is anything you post on the internet considered it public becasue someone will have a way of viewing it.
  22. NEETS Module 19
  23. If you use Google you can search by specific dates.
  24. Really enjoyed meeting yall, It was a real nice ride over and back right at 100 miles, supposed to be 80 today.
  25. Here is the thread that discussed the rear wheel awhile back. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/sh...ad.php?t=62504
