    I have to think there may be a problem with the auction I placed 6 bids and it does not show me submitting them. On one I put in 5.00 and it went back to .25

    Your rear shock going bad can also cause cupping.

    My Street Pilot finally died so I am using a plan ole Nuvi 250 right now, it does the job but I don't know how many more times I can get it wet before it dies.

    I have a similar switch setup plus a relay. Check for voltage at the lights, take off the fairing and check at the relay if you have one then the switch. The only time I have seen both go out it was a pinched wire going into the light bar so you may want to check those before you remove the fairing.

    Check you connections in the fairing you may have accidentally pulled one loose a little. Also check the ground.

    A tie strap will help you seat the bead.

    Ask them if they had considered switching to a fire stick or similar it would be better performance.

    I have them on one bike and not on the other and I don't see much difference may be different on a first gen.

    But does it have a cassette player?

    If you attached a relay to a led through a switch that would let you know when the drain plug oil filter was loose you might save a lot on purple fluid.

    Welcome to the forum. You are fairly close to several members just look on the Membership list. If you really want the bike looked over good come to Maintenance Day at Don's in two weeks.

    I had someone suggest that my wife should take the Safety course so she understands more of what is going on and if the need ever arises she could ride in a emergency situation.

    Having used them for what seems like forever I agree, I tried to be funny and I think I came off as an a$$ sorry. Lots of good info I think all can benefit from your post.
