  1. Enjoy the new ride I tried a 2012 out but my hips and back did not like it other than that it was a great bike. I am afarid when they change the RSV it won't fit me anymore but it would be nice to see some improvments. Are you looking to get rid of your RSV parts?
  2. Mouser or Digi Key have them in stock I just ordered some from digi-key. http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/SD-50J/CP-1150-ND/97009
  3. I am bad about about riding gear when it comes to heat, Helmet, t-shirt, jeans, gloves and steel toe boots. I have been shopping for mesh jackets since several on here ride in the summer with them curious to see what eveyone else says.
  4. My first true street bike was a 650 and it did me well for quite awhile.
  5. The police Radars are the same band as radar and satelittle broadcast ( X, K, Ka bands) and at such a low power you are not in any harm, however most use lasers now so its a mute point. As far as the usefullness of a radar detector it has to see the radar gun to go off since all the bands are LOS. Article from WHO http://www.who.int/peh-emf/publications/facts/fs226/en/index.html

  12. Well it looks like my trip is off, after some wise advice I did not think doing the Dragon and the Skyway this week in the rain would be a good idea.,
  13. I must not be much of a salesman, I have stalked several riders and not one has joined. Followed on for 30 miles one day before they stopped and they had not even realized I was following them.
  14. Glad yall are ok.
  15. I have some great roads back home in VA that have some long sweeping curves that you can see where you are going and can also enjoy the scenery.
  16. I was searching tire pressure and I ran across this post and I am glad I did. We are taking off Sunday for a trip to the mountains and after reading this post I decided to reinspect my 404s a little closer and low and behold I find a couple of bubbles, a nail and a cut on the tire p;us I think they were close to needing changing anyway. Going to the shop tomorrow for a new Elite III. Thanks again
  17. I have 8K on my Dunlaps and they are about wore out, I got 25K from the Avon Venoms. looks like you may have a little cupping like has been said pressure and also could be your rear shock going bad.

Do they still have the $40.00 rebate when you buy two? I just bought a set from Dennis Kirk for $140 something a piece free shipping but it looks like they don't have the front tire anymore.
  19. Thanks for the post, sounds like an interestinf idea. I had someone reccoment to me to ride directly over the wire instead of in the middle and so far it has worked for me.
  20. Hate to hear that and our prayers go out to the family. We will be riding the skyway and the Dragon on Monday will have to be extra careful.
  21. Pour a whole can in your power washer because you forgot to winterize it last year and it will put out alot of white smoke
  22. Warrior is not far from you in Black Mountain, however i would just go to Parts Bandit and look at the parts list, the only one that confused me was the saddle bags. Also if you like just say what area you need and I will take a pic.
  23. Prayers to them and the family.
  24. It's a sign of the Zombie Apocalypse
