I ordered a fish sandwich and onion rings for 7 bucks the sandwich was huge and a big pile of onion rings and they were good.

Just stopped for Ice cream in Highlands nice little shop friendly wish I could remember the name. We had lunch in Cherokee at the Little Princes Restaurant don't eat there unless you are hungry.

Thanks for the tips have a co-worker riding from San Diego to Waco next week asking me for tips so I am going to share yours also. -
After I made my post I wish I had not, not everyone has access to the equipment. I know a couple of good folks in SW Va but that may be a little far for you.

You could always just do it yourself about $400 bucks for the basecoat, paint and clearcoat.

Road Route 28 yesterday from NC to GA to SC and what a great road, I think the only sraight part is through Highlands NC till you get to Clemson SC. Lots of great things to see especially some great waterfalls. Was a fairly easy ride relaxing pretty much constant twisties. Great little ice cream shop in Highlands, the road is narrow and the posted speed limit is 35 and 45 most of the way but if you get out of 3rd gear you are probally going too fast for the curves any way

Stopped and talked to a couple of gentleman on the BRP yesterday, one was riding an 06 Venture real nice guy gave him a card hopefully he will check us out.

I always like talking with a bunch of ex military folks around non-military they usually don't have a clue and to throw bike speak into it they don't have a chance.

We were supposed to be up there right now but this weeks weather just sucked. Heading out tomorrow for Black Mountain NC and then we may wind up there or where ever.

Ok i was going to keep quite but the ET in me has to say something I know trouble maker. Fiberglass and plastic is pretty much transparent to RF that is why they make radomes out of it, however most paints are metalic based and that is what the RF energy bounces off of on your vehicle plus the metal behind it. When we have a radome painted you have to use a special epoxy based paint so the RF energy will go through.

I just took a set of 404's off my 2nd gen only got 8K out of them and I got 25K out of Avon Venoms so I will never get 404's again.

Do not buy a Nikon Coolpix, we sent my daughters in 3 times for repair and as soon as the warranty was out they said tough. Nikon had the camera longer than my daughter did.

We were eating lunch next to the Garrison Bight Marina in Key West once and a guy backed his boat down the ramp and it just kept going. The boat kept the trailer up so the guy swims up to the boat releases the straps and takes off to go fishing with his truck and trailer still submerged. When I got off work about 5 hours later they were finally pulling the truck out.
