Well we now can understand a little bit of how the Indians must have felt a few centuries back when a bunch of uninvited people came into their country and took over. Hope you get to work soon. I have been out of work since October but living in Illinois our unemployement pay per week is one of the highest in the USA. I get almost $600 a week and that sure makes it nice. I now know what the welfare people are talking about................I call it my welfare check.

Hard to believe Ohio State and U of M will not be playing each other this year. What has college football come to. Sat, Nov 27 Michigan * Columbus, Ohio TBA Not sure what U of M you are talking about But they always play Michigan no matter what game is 11/27/2010. It is a protected rivalry game. I then thought you might mean Minnesota but they also play. So help me out who do you mean.

I don't believe I would take a chance on my motorcycle by using something that MIGHT hurt the bike. But then again that's just me. I buy a can for $6.50 at TSC and go through about 4 cans a year. I figure it is worth it. Bikes only need about 3 oz's per tank about 1 time a month to keep things clean? Well at least that seems to work for me and I ride about 30,000 miles a year

OK I know this doesn't have anything to do with riding but since college football is just a couple of weeks away I was wondering who everyones FAVORITE team is. My wife and I have been going to every home and a few away games and tailgating at all of them for the last 12 years or so and the team we follow are the Purdue Boilermakers PS we are going to try and do some tailgating this year with our motorcycle and trailer and see how that goes. Should be the only ones doing that.

Soon-to-be-Venture owner needs some help

Need opinions on Whirlpool Duet Front Load Washer and Dryer
Rick Haywood replied to Midrsv's topic in Watering Hole
It takes a special soap for front loaders. If you use the regular soap it will cause the seal to start leaking around ther door, and it will have soap build up inside the tub You will also cut the laundry time by 60% because the front loader will hold 2 to 3 times as much clothes. We also have the LG's -
ASOLUTELY no punn intended I'll try and make up a couple of gallons of my football taligating famous apple pie shots before we come up.

Talk to Mark at Diamond Seats and he will give you all the time inthe world and answer any questions. I am discussing a new seat for me and the wife with him now. Only issue is if he can get the color I need since mine is the brown/tan color. I sure hope he can Also you can talk to the people at All Day Russel in Michigan. Very good seat but the reason I went with diamond the last time I had one done was because you do not have to send them your old seats with most others they want your bucket so you are without your seats till they get done. Also Diamond builds them for your weight and inseam measurements.

Time to convert to Supporting Members Only
Rick Haywood replied to Freebird's topic in Watering Hole
I am not sure why somebody woul;dn't fork out a measly 12 bucks a year to be a member. I have owned my Royal Star Venture for 4 weeks, Have put 4500 miles on it so far and have already saved my $12 in free advice from the other members. I had an ignition switch go bad and there was a post telling me how to by pass it to get it home that I had read before the problem. Right there paid for my membership.Plus the knowledge on here is priceless. If you have something happening to your bike that you can't figure out how to fix you can bet someone on here has had the same problem and has already figured out the fix for it. OK I'll get doown off my soap box now Rick -
I can not say for my RSV yet but I had a seat made for my old goldwing by Diamond and it was the best money I ever spent. I was able to triple the miles I could ride in a day and for more days in a row. I am not sure if they do seats for our bikes but bet they do. Has anyone ever had one from diamond on a rsv

Mike first off was good meeting you and your daughter Thursday and was wondering if you can do mine this winter and what the cost is. You can let me know via text, post here or call me. Rick

2011 would be the time to make changes and upgrade the RSV since Honda will not build a GW in 2011.

OK I believe i have an ignition switch going bad. I turn on the key and nothing other than the stero works. I keep turning it off and on and finally the dash and everything else comes on 28,000 miles on the bike. Does everyone agree it's the switch and if so where is cheapest place to buy one and can I keep the original lock and key.

[ Bryan OK I am a newbie to the board but my wife (Shirley) and I would like to join in. We can't be there till friday night but we would like to ride Saturday with you all and if someone twisted my arm we would hang out for some beers then on Saturday Night. If that's ok with everyone. We would probably find a campground close and hang there for sleeping. Rick
