1. I was only talking about the job itself. I didn't take into consideration the prep time getting things ready and also the consulting time. Then there is the clean up time also. What were we talking about anyway? OH yea a fuel pump.
2. I always carry a tool bag with what I need for most repairs and this one is pretty straight forward. I will have plenty
3. Bring the pump and I'll help ya. pretty simple job and only takes about 3 beers to do it time wise.
4. I bought the 13.5 and have had it on for over 30,000 miles and I love it. I only use Turtle wax clear coat scratch remover to clean it and it is as clear as new. Oh yes and the price was great. Something like $85.00
5. After rethinking this, I am not really sure. I bought my RSV on July 27th last year and it had 18,700 miles on it and I just truned it over 51,000 yesterday so if I divide by how many days dived by how many miles.........................o the heck with it. Alot I guess but want nore. Just like a man isn't it? Always wanting more:big-grin-emoticon:
6. Actually, unless you ride a Harley it is only one thumb. Sometimes I think some people have to much time to think about things. I never really worried about them. I am just happy with the fact that they go off by themselves. Mine also seem to shut off pretty quick after making my turn. On my old bike the self cancelling only worked when I rode with another bike and they were behind me. After awhile they would holler at me on the CB to shut off my turn signal and it always seemed to work.
7. Speaking of Vogel 6 DAYS LEFT TILL VOGEL:banana:

12. Here is a picture of mine, I changed the tank bib and added leather air filter box covers. By the way that picture is taken in front of the American Pickers place/building the big guy in the back walking into the place is EUSA1
13. Well I looked but can't find any, I will dig deeper tomorrow. I found plenty of the short ones. You shoud be able to get them at Ace is the place. Take one of the old ones in and tell them you need the about 1/2 inch longer.
14. Any chance anyone will have a carb sync tool with them? If so I'd like to check my carbs and see if they need synced:think: or not
15. I will look in my "junk box" but I believe I have a set or two of the longer bolts. I will let you know later today. If I do you may have them.
16. Well I get crap for fuel mileage when I run higher rpm's If I run 58-64 mph I get about 39-42mpg if I run 75-80 i get 31-34 mpg so the added wind and added rpm's kill mine
17. I was bieing a little sarcastic, I know they won't cover it up because a cop wasn't involved. It was a dig at Infianapolis and the way they handled the death of the biker there.
18. :clap2:Looking forward to it, Bringing Aussie Annie and Quikstep (alan) with me and myh wife We are headed down to B2 Mom and Dads on Tuesday the 16th and the on the 17th all of us are riding to Vogel together.
19. A married couple were killed early Sunday morning when they were rearended by a drunk driver at a stop light. Wonder if this will be covered up like the cop in Indianapolis that killed that biker at a stop light while driving drunk. http://www.centralillinoisnewscenter.com/news/local/Married-Couple-Killed-in-Motorcycle-Accident-127096963.html?fb_comment_id=fbc_10150338535876495_19156833_10150339084931495

24. The wife and I were riding over to Indiana on Friday night and I noticed another bike coming up in the left lane as he passed me I looked over and I'll be darn if it wasn't another one just like mine. Found it strange to have another one pass me. he got off at exit #15 of I-74
