After 14,000 miles the plugs need changed. That may be the cause in it running rough.
-
Not to change the subject but is the 2nd gen suppose to have a crush washer? Mine doesn't and I does not have any leaks. Been that way for about 55,000 miles

If you need a place to crash and a hot shower you are welcome at our place.
-
If it is Dunlop E'3s then that might be it. They will whine when cornering and you can feel it a little.

I have no Idea what you are talking about Bryan........................ But if I did it sure took you a long time to notice
-
How did you see me do that Dan? I didn't think anyone noticed.............

It is also for the passenger if you ride two up. If something happens to you they can push you forward and hit the kill switch and steer the bike to a good place to fall over when the speed gets to that point.

I don't even have a home phone anymore. Mine works great but I don't live in Gods Country
-
What were they unhappy about? Didn't like the fact that you wanted what was do you?

That is the button to key the mic on the cb if you are riding a 2nd gen

Well your trailer had a good ground....................

The Bike calls for NGK DPR8EA-9a The DPR7EA-9A is a hotter plug. I run the 7's in mine and it seems to run just a little better at lower RPM's A hotter plug just means it doesn't dissipate the heat as well as a colder plug. It isn't going to hurt a thing
-
Well, you can do what most do and split the fairing and add a "Y" to the jack then you won't have to use the plug by the cassette deck and you can run the wire up along the handle bars. his way you don't have to have the door open on the deck to listen to the MP3 player or XM/Sirius.

Handle bar weights
Rick Haywood replied to chubbyone's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I put ISO grips on and after a couple of weeks I bought the weights and put them on, glad I did -
Kid, You all are welcome to crash at my place on the way through and save a motel if you want. I probably could be talked into riding out there with you all. Let me know if you all want to crash here. Rick and Shirley

everyone remember, with this heat please make sure you check the pressure. An under inflated tire with this heat is just asking for trouble. DO NOT overload the bike either. Ride Safe

I just noticed on the calender that Dacheedah (Kevin) Has invited us to the boat races on the river and we can go to his house and watch the festivities. I think it sounds like a great time. Shirley and I signed up. Here is the link http://www.venturerider.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=322&day=2012-9-1&c=1

help with a cb
Rick Haywood replied to chubbyone's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
do not know what a throat mic is but the harley one will not work. The system on the Venture is exactly the same one as the gold wings so you would probably have better luck looking for a Honda one also. -
This is OUR America now. Stupid people do stupid things. Kudo's to the life guard for saving a life.
