I am in Pensacola and will be leaving Monday and riding to Robinsville NC spending Monday Night. Leaving and riding around going over the dragon. The foothills parkway across the blueridge then riding the diamonback then on to grandfather mountain. I will spend tuesday night in Boone NC. Wednesday I am going across us 421 to shady valey TN. I am then going to cut up through WV back roads heading to parkersburg. From there I will be taking 555 in ohio working my way to Norwalk oh. Plan on beingin Norwalk no later than supper time Thursday. Do some riding with my cousin on Friday. Then I believe I might turn around and ride to Guntersville AL. So if anyone lives along the area I am riding and wants to meet up for a little ride or a meal or coffee let me know and I will meet you ata place of your choosin:thumbsup2:

Feeling back to normal (well as normal as I get) leaving at 6:00 am tomorrow long ride to pensacola.

Man I hate missing this but the daughter needs me in Pensacola so she comes first

Ok I am home now they decided I had a TIA [Mini stroke] no permanent damage. They gave me some meducation and said I'd be good as new in a couple days. Thanks for your encouragement and kind words

Wish we could make it but I am leaving the 16th and riding to Pensacola then up to see a friend ib Tuscaloosa. Then to the IR Then afterthat going to Asheville

This is Slim and this morning Rick woke to go to the bathroom and got verry dizzy and frll into the walls in the bathroom he then attempted to walk to the bed and couldnt stand up while walking. This lasted 1 hout at home the he decided a trip to the hospital was in order. He could barely walk to the car but I got him to the e room quickly. The did some tests and then transfered him by ambulance to a bigger facility for testing. They ran the mri, sonagram of the heart and an ekg. All results are not Iin yet but the suspect he had a minnie stroke. They have him in a nurological ICU right now as a percation Thank god he wasnt on the bike when I happened. He asked me to post this so you would at least know. We will update you as we know more. Thank you

Anyone who stayed at the Days Inn in Murphy NC in 2013 snould check their debit/credit cards. They had a computer problem and a bunch of cards got charged again. I called and talked to them this morning about the 2 charges on a card that I use only for making motel reservation and the are fixing it. Just an fyi

I thought the weather was good. I rode in a total of 5 minutes worth of rain from the time I left home thursday til I got back home sunday afternoon.

Orlin and Sharon, I know I told you but I can not express how grateful I am first to call you both my friend and how great it was to spend the time at your MD. As always you both go way beyond to make sure we all enjoy ourselves and are such gracious hosts. Those that have never made it up to your place are missing out and those of us that have been lucky enough to be there are blessed. Thank You both so much. :clap2:

Have the rear wheel off to put on a new tire so figured I would change the rear end gear oil. As I was draining the oil I noticed the chrome cap on top of the rear end is gone I figured all along this was a vent cap but now that it is missing I don't see how it is suppose to vent looking for some answers an if you know if I can replace it or shouod i not worry about it:confused24:

Harry where did you get the gaskets for $10? I just ordered 1 and it cost me $20

Sounds like the shock is shot or msybe he didn't put the caliper back in correct position
