My wife got me a firewood heater kit a couple of years ago. It comes with the legs, door, grate and flu. You use a 55 gal drum for the heater. It works great to keep 1600 sq. ft nice and warm i the shop. I set a fan behind it and it will blow to the far side of the shop. Wood here is pretty cheap or you can cut your own.

Hi Gene I'm sure you will have many sleepless night over this. It is such a waist of life that words can not express the feelings. When I was a Corpman in Nam back in the late 60's I had to try to patch up and keep alive many young men. Back then they were friends and when your 18 and 19 you don't see them as children. Now many years later and older I look back at times and they were only children. I don't think this memory will ever pass completly for you but at least the child will always be remembered. Not in a way you would want but remembered anyway. Steve

No problems here with mine. Just keep the RPM's up and I only go into 5th if I'm on a straight away and over 65. Plenty of guts to these bikes.

Then he said, (can you believe) if I wanted more info and he had to spend more time with me, I had to buy something from him. Wow, nice guy. I didn't dare ask about the original dented tank. Geez ...... Ahhhh the old bait and hook LOL

Total Hip Replacement, how long b-4 U were back in the saddle?
SteveW replied to a topic in Watering Hole
I had the right knee replaced 3 months after the right hip. Now its been about 2 years and the hip and knee have been great for over a year now. The trouble is I'm sitting here withe an ice pack on my left knee and will probably have to have that one replaced this year. Getting old SUCKS Glad I have the sidecar rig. Looking to get out on Sat. and ride some. ( not having to hold it up makes for a fun ride when you have a bad knee.) Just don't push the healing and do the PT. The knee takes about twice as much work to heal right. -
Total Hip Replacement, how long b-4 U were back in the saddle?
SteveW replied to a topic in Watering Hole
10 weeks for me but be careful you can pop the hip out of the socket and have to start all over again. Mine healed quick and Now 2 years later I keep forgetting I even had it replaced. ( maybe its my age that makes me forget ?) I forgot -
Hi Don I think its all been said. Just take it a day at a time and do your best. Steve

I'm 6 ft 7 and love the backrest. I had to take the mounting bracket and put it in a vice and bend it back about an inch. It does push back some into the front of the passenger seat. When I put it on stock it pushed me way to much up on the tank and bow its great.
