Yep 3 inches here in Cleveland , Ga. and still coming down. I hope the snow drifts don't block us in the house ..LOL:rotf::rotf: Should be out riding by sunday when its up to 58 again. Why does everyone buy milk and bread when its going to snow. ( If you loose power the milk will go bad unless you put it outside.)

Training wheel for one side !!!! Sounds like a sidecar to me !!:rotf::cool10:

I have used one of these backrests when I had my ultra. It worked fine it is bigger then the stock corbin and took up some leg room for the passanger due to the extra width but was very comfortable.

Really glad that you and Lonna were able to walk away from that one. Luck was on your side with some help from above. Drop it of in my shop in Ga. and I can pratice on some fiberglass work. After hearing about all these rear tires coming apart I'm glad I have the sidecar on mine now. ( maybe 3 tires are better then 2 ). You two rest up and heal up.

I just posted my Kendon Trailer in the classifieds if anyone is looking for a really nice standup trailer. I can't use it with my Sidecar on my 05.

Put a sidecar on it and it doesn't fall over !!!:rotf::rotf: Its nice not having to hold it up at a light anymore.

I really like the sidecar and so does my wife. It takes a few hours and a few miles to get use to but now its a blast. I keep 100 lbs. of weight in the car at all times and that makes it much more stable on right turns.

No problem Fred Now lets see pic's as you make the Tryke

Here is a great way to keep warm and very cheap also. I used this a couple of years ago when riding back from Fl. feb. I have a 12 volt elec. car blanket 24" x 54" and just wraped it around me under my jacket ( you can use a little velcro to hold it together if needed ). Pluged it into the cig. lighter and I was nice and toasty in 25 degree weather in North Ga. at 1 am when I got home. I got the blanket from a closeout store for 12 bucks and it has a 8 ft cord. It might not be classy but it worked great. Keep the upper body warm and the rest will follow. :cool10::cool10:

Hi Fred I have a 84 Yamaha Virago 700 you could use for the front end. It has everything gauges, dual disk breaks, gas tanks, everything but the engine. Lots of extra parts. The only thing I am keeping out of it is the engine.

I want to thank everyone who wrote me about the stock pipes. Talk about a great responce. The deal is done and the stock pipes are on my bike. They sound nice with the sidecar I was looking for some quiet and these work great. Thanks again to all

Wobble with sidecar-comments please

Ok some pic's of my sidecar. Its a champion sidecar Legion model. I picked it up a few weeks ago for a great price. So far I have around 200 miles on it and have to say I like it but its going to take some getting use to. After 45 years of riding on 2 wheels riding with a sidecar is like starting all over again. -

I just put a champion sidecar on mine this week. It has a power level system that really helps it from drifting depending on the crown of the road. Mine has a slight wobble ( very slight ) between 20 and 25 MPH. I noticed it yesterday ( first time out ) but with 200 miles on it now I don't even notice it at all. It takes some getting use to thats for sure. ( It gives the upper body a good workout in the twisties ). I didn't put the steering dampener on mine and don't think I will need one. Its great on the highway ran it up to 80 and it ran nice. Don't forget it might pull some to the left when breaking and to the right when giving it the gas. If the toe in is not set right it will be all over the road. check the toe in and the level of the car. -
I had it mounted at Sidekicks in Flowery Branch GA. Nice guys to deal with ! I am doing my own wireing and tilt system on it. ( got to have something to do right ) LOL. Did take it out this afternoon for a few hours and it is a different beast to drive but I like it. It will slow you down in the twisties but thats fine with me. I'm out to relax and have a good time anyway. I'll post some pic's tomorrow. Its a champion sidecar and has the exact color paint as my midnight ( like it was custom painted for it.) it is a used rig but for 800.00 its in like new condition.

Does anyone have a set of second gen stock mufflers that have not been modified, that they don't want ???? I just put a sidecar on today and the bubbs are alittle loud for the rider. When I got the bike it had bubbs on it so I don't have a set of stock muffs. ( anyone want to swap some muffs for a Radiator Grill ?? )

When I got my 2005 it had heated grips allready installed. I've never had them in the past but they are great. :cool10: I have never found any gloves that would really keep my hands warm on long rides. Just on the low setting works fine.

Congrats on the new ride, it looks great !!! Ride Safe
