I have used Grasshopper backrests on 3 different bikes, liked them all. Currently have one on my RSTD, great product for the price.

Anyone ever try this mod, any reviews or dealings with the company ? This would be for a 2009 RSTD. http://www.hotlicksexhaust.com/

Exhaust popping - any other suggestions

I had some Popping on decel...... at Freebirds MD the carbs got synced, then I replaced the spark plugs. No more popping on decel. -
the V4 has been in the lineup for along time, I suspect they will be releasing a Gen3 in a couple years. (I will predict- fuel injection, on-star, headset will be wireless Bluetooth, 6 speed trans, stronger charging system with power converter and one 110 outlet, more storage in the saddlebags and trunk, CB w/GMRS channels, built in Nav system, AND... a tape deck!) ps. will run on E-85

Get an attorney, get a copy of the police report. IF his car insurnace does not cover it, sometimes His homeowner policy will. Good Luck! -
I have the Cardio Rider Scala Q2, reallly like them. Battery life is good, range is pretty good as well.

My wife started riding her own with a honda shadow vlx600 4 speed. She is now riding a honda shadow spirit 1100. She has loved motorcycling so much she became an MSF RiderCoach. If she is wanting to ride her own, there is alot of information on the web, my 2 cents worth is check out Roar Motorcycles, they are great people and cater to riders with a shorter inseam. PS, make sure the bike fits her ( meaning her knees are slightly bent when seated on the bike and flat footed on the ground.... remember, women have a different center of gravity than we men do. A woman should be able to remove the bike from side stand using her leg strength, not upper body strength. ) Rick

If you get one, remember this...... the engine is a V4 not a V-twin....... it likes to run at higher RPM's. I love my Royal Star Tour Deluxe. -
Doing well. some snow and slush in central WV. Rick.

Max speed is about 65 mph, I hear they love life at 55 mph. I did some research and know that at least 1 has done an Iron Butt rally, and did complete it.
