If you install the ez steer on the voyager you better not plan on removing the trike kit and ride 2 wheels. It will not handle worth a darn.

One thing I forgot to mention, The voyager trike kit now handles all most as good as my Motortrike venture. All trike builders will tell you the samething about the voyager kits. After all they want to convert your bike to a trike.

I had the voyager kit on my RSV.It takes a while to get the setup right.First thing is to make sure it is centered. Then you have to play with the pre-load. I found that if you increase the pre-load to 3/4 inch, it works really well on our bikes. This is very important,MAKE SURE THERE IS ON AIR PRESSURE IN THE REAR SHOCK when setting the pre-load. after setting the pre-load pump up the shock as desired. My bike handled much better when set up this way. another thing is the trike tire pressure,I set mine to around 15psi. You can play with this to improve the ride and handling. as for the loose nuts, use locktite.

It's very possible that it was not installed properly when the dealer did the initial set up. Several folks here found that out upon there first time spliting the fairing. Including myself. Mine was held on with two screws, all the rest were underneath the windshild not through the windshield. Everyone should check there's if you've never split your fairing before. -
Some noise when idling is probably normal. Both of my "99" have some clutch noise until I pull in the clutch handle. My lt900 kawasaki also made a little raddle noise . but then it was a Kawasaki.:crackup:Maybe Goose or Freebird will add to this, they Know this bikes inside and out. Heck, everything I know about my bikes i picked up here. Great bunch of people here.

There's a clock on these things? I never check for the clock. Just the trip settings. -

Does anyone have a set of stock (new style) antenna's, they would like to part with? My new trike has the CB antanna missing and the radio antenna is broke. I know I can install fireflys. but I like the new style folding whips.

Did you show the shop manager the helmet, and explain to him what happened and if so what did he say. The shop is responsable for your rig while it is in there shop. If you waited until after you took the bike home, then you may be screwed. If this is the case, you should still take it back and talk to the owner/manager. If he values his reputation and his bussiness he will take care of this.

I LIKE IT! I still have my other 99 venture for 2 wheeling. But the trike is great for 2up.You see,me and the misses arn't little people, so we feel much more secure on the trike. It does take some getting use to,but once you get the hang of it it's pretty nice. This is a motortrike kit. It's no longer available for the Venture. The best conversion for the Venture is the Hannagan. Several people here have that conversion. Theres one for sale in the classified's It's the yellow one, and it's sweet. Just a little out of my price range. The best part about riding a trike is it is still a motorcycle. Just don't look behind you.
