    We are holding our International rally July 22-26. If you want to see what we are all about come to the rally. Or go to any Meet and eat or any day ride that are held around the country. Find out what we are all about before you pass judgement. It is an honor to belong to this family and well worth $12. Oh and just so you know there are more then a few members that are down on there luck who have been help by this organization. Not to mention the folks here that give ther personal time and money to help there bothers and sister. If this is what you are looking for then please join us.

    OK, lets go in a different direction for a minute. Have you ever had your valve clearances check? I have been told by a couple yamaha mac's that a symtom of tight valves is hard starting.

    I to was wundering how one could ride or drive over 2000 miles in under 24 hours? they would have to average 83 mph none stop. Where in North America could you possibly do this? other then a track.

    clunk, bang,whine, whisle, rattle, they all have some unique noise that will.... Drive you crazy. Kind of like a wife:yikes: But I still love both of them. Boy am i gonna get it!

    If its bogging and dieing you have a fuel problem. Its a problem with your filter or your fuel pump. Apperently the fuel pumps on these bike have been know to go bad. I would change the filter first, then check the pump.

    Sea Foam Is the stuff u want to use. However, it sounds like a fuel feed problem. Whens the last time you changed the fuel filter?

    Tom, I think you need to lay off the ice cream, your starting to studder. To everyone else out there. 8 more tickets is just brake even. We would like to make a little extra to put back into the VR fund, to be used for other events and to help out those in need. So come on and help out your fellow riders.     I still believe Yamamomma is going to put a trunk and all the other whistles and bells on the Stratoliner deluxe and call it the Stratoliner tour deluxe. Or stratoventure. I am willing to bet this is the last year of the Venture as we know it. After all, how meany cassette player can they have left in inventory?

    Probably will do a roto-rutter job. couple stents and all will be good. Then you will be a member of the stent club with me and Robin. Hang in there Bobby, all will be good.

    Back rest did it for me. Before the back rest I had to get off the bike after about 90 minutes of riding, now I'm good for several hours. Now if I can just figure out what to do about the tail bone pain.

    His wife says he's selling because he is now into classic cars and doesn't have time for it. Personally I think he is scared of it.

    To my surprise, as I was driving home from work the other day, there it is, a 2008 charcoal gray( i think that is what they call it) RSV, just 1/2 mile from where I work. I know the guy that lives there, but didn't know he owns a Venture. Now I know why. Apperantly it spent most of its time in the garage. It only has 3300 miles on it. He is asking $9500.00. It is an S model, but has no extra bling. Not even a luggage rack. If anyone is interested Drop me a pm. I will take pic's. He is not doing any advertising at this time.

    Got a bad tank of gas while at MD, Put a couple oz's of startron in it, next day it was running smooth again.

    I replaced all the wear parts. 1 ring at the bottom, 1 ring at the top. the seals. the dust rings. I seem to remember a nylon ring also. I also replaced the "o" rings on the top cap. If you like the handling of your bike,then I wouldn't replace the springs. If you want a stiffer ride then go ahead and replace the springs.

    ETCSWJOE, I do believe you hit it right on the nose. If you google the new yamaha line up for 2013 you will find the new 2013 stratoliner deluxe with all the latest goody's, with the exception of the trunk. Stick a trunk on that baby and you have yamaha's new touring bike.
