  1. I'm not working seven days a week. I think we can fit you in. Why does everyone keep asking me about employee discount:confused24:
  2. Seems like everytime I grab one of those tasty little morsels I always get the one with the nasty tasting stuff in the middle. Well this week I got one with the creamy caramel centers. After 5 months of unemployment, during which time I attended and passed a CDL course on Tuesday, not ten minutes before I was to jump into the truck to take my road test i recieved a phone call from another company( not trucking related) that I applied to to come in on thursday for my second interview. Had my first interview the week before, didn't think it went well. So I go back to the trucking company where the school is that I attended and am told to fill out a application with them. Next day I get a call back from them saying I can start as a trainee sometime in the next couple of weeks...What to do, what to do? Well, I went to the interview with the other company ( big box retail company) this morning. The HR manager hands me a slip of paper with a hourly pay rate and ask me if this amount is ok with me. After picking myself up off the floor and pushing my mouth shut , I said I guess it will do. It was way more then I ever expected to be offered. Again, what to do,what to do? So I told her that I just got my CDL And she says, that's great we can use you as a back up delivery driver and a dept. manager.... Now I ask you, what do you think I did?......I start next week with the big box company.

I may have a bunch of other stuff for sale, but the trike stays. Anyone have a cardboard box we can move into:confused24:

  9. That goes for north eastern NJ!!! If you what to go across the Delaware water gap come back across NY on the 17 west and drop into NJ from around High Point. Then down along the Del river. You do not want to ride through NJ City or Newark.
  10. some trike companys us the ford 7.5" rear inverted. thats what I have in my Motortrike kit. i think I'm running 2.73 gears.
  11. Don't forget to check out the finger Lakes. Hammonds Port is the #1 small town in the USA. Also Watkins Glen is a great place to visit. And don't forget to check out Skaneateles,oh and all the great wineries and breweries....as for Big Tom?...I've never know him to be in a good mood on any day of the week....He just a grumpy old man:whistling:

  19. Dare I say it...cassette player!!!
  20. I believe its a peek at the future. Its to small to be a serious long range touring bike...but don't be surprised if you see them install a trunk and all the electronics on a large frame, big bore v twin bagger.
  21. We got ours today. Looking good.
  22. Air shocks and air bags is a little over kill. I have a 99 rsv with motortrike with sring over progressives and air bags. I have the spring overs set stiff and run about 30 psi in the bags. combined wgt for wife and I is around 470lbs. If I were you I would run very little to no air in the shocks and play with the air bag till you find the sweet spot. Trikes ride a little on the harsh side no matter what you do with the suspention. You'll get use to it.
  23. You have got to do the keys. As for members in Fla I'm sure you will find several in the members list. one more thing.....TAKE US WITH YOU!
  24. If you can't afford a trike conversion its the second best thing. They are not as stable as a conversion but it will do the job. You will go through rear bike tires a lot faster. They do take while to dial in to get the ride and handling your looking for.
  25. At least I'll alway be able to find used parts for my trike. Just thing in 10 years I'll be able to replace the motor with an all most new low milage motor. I should be able to keep this thing going for at least 40 years.:dancefool:Oh wait.... that would make me 97. Ok maybe not 40.
