  1. Good thing there are lots of HD dealers along the way.
  2. Ontario and Detroit are the winners.
  3. Um Gary, your on the map:rotfl:
  4. Sprague's... right?
  5. Same here with the trike. My clutch whines something terrible around 45 to 55 mpg. Its the clutch. one thing I do know is that it is louder with the Bagger Shield windshield in the full up position. I believe the stock windshield magnifies the sound, or redirects it back to the rider. Shorter windshield equals more wind noise, so you don't hear as much engine noise. I'm not saying there isn't a few noisy rear ends out there, but most of the whine does come from the clutch basket. those of us with trikes have proven this. Also those who have changed there clutch basket and eliminated the whine have also proven this. But for some reason the Yamaha tech's seem to want to blame it on the rear end.
  6. Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina. Lots of members in that area to put it together.
  7. To come join the fun at the WNY rally. I know, not another rally, not more fun. You all just got back from the IR. So what! Tell your boss's to kiss your... And take the time off and come join the fun. I mean heck, there's going to be live music, food and rides. and you don't have to pay for anything up front. We have free camping, toilets, running water and shelter for the bikes. What more can you ask for. Big Tom busts his butt every year to put this on, so come on out and chill with the gang.
  8. OK Bob, you camp and I'll stay at your place. I think it will be safer there.
  9. Sooo... who plans on camping at the rally?
  10. Don't be throwing me under the bus big boy. Your on your own with this one.
  11. Don, please delete this.
  12. You just couldn't leave it alone, could you tom.
  13. oh god! Here we go again.
  14. Well Bobby, now that you brought it up. I was thinking how nice it would be if someone in TN,NC or SC Or somewhere down that way were to put together the next IR.

OK, so I guess by the fact that my post was deleted that we can't post possible good deals on bikes that some of our member might be interested in? Just wanted to give the gang a heads up on a low mileage bike. Sorry if I made booboo.
  17. I have the bagger shield. LOVE IT!
  18. Welcome aboard and don't mind the crazy one's. they're safe....as long as they take there med's.
  19. So that's where you are....You just stay put and you friends in the white coats will be there to take you away... HAAAAHAHA.
  20. It should not move. I think there is a pin that holes it in place. You can split it open and carefully pull it apart to look inside. I've had it apart a couple of times, no big deal. just take your time.
  21. Carbs can be found on EBAY, Pinwall cycle salvage has a lot of parts available. I would replace all the hoses, brake lines, clutch lines and flush the cooling system. You have a lot of work ahead of you. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Good luck.
  22. I will say this again as I have on other threads. Shift to reserve at least once a week so you don't get the surprise I got. I hadn't used my reserve since the previous season. On our way home from MD at Freebirds I ran the tank down till the low fuel light came on, so I shifted to reserve to find out to my surprise that the bottom of my tank was full of water. we were lucky there was a gas station just down the road. I now leave it in the reserve position all the time and fill up when I get to a 1/4 tank. just like I do with my truck and car. I mean isn't that why the put a fuel gage on the bike.
  23. I just stop and fill up when I get down to a 1/4 tank on the gage.
  24. Its only normal for HD's
  25. Some trike owners install a rear tire on the front of there trike and reverse the rotation. they say the tire will last a lot longer then the standard front tire. I run a standard front tire on my Motortrike with no problem, but I don't have a raked front end. I would say that with a raked front end it won't make much of a difference if you install a narrower tire. If it works, leave it alone.
