Now that I have a new computer and a easy to use photo downsizing program, I thought I would share some pic's.

I'm running a what ever is recommended for the second gen. on the front and radials on the back with no issues. So far I have 11000 miles on the front with very little wear. I have no handling problems in rain or on dry roads. You will want t run normal pressure on the front and around 20-25 psi in the rear.

I mounted mine to the passenger grab bars. can't remember how he mounted his. He did post pic's, but like I said his post is gone.

A couple weeks ago when Freebird was up dating the site, someone posted this very same subject. seems he found a set of armrests for a 1500 Goldwing on amazon.com for under $130.00 and fabricated mounts to fit them to his 1st gen. shortly after that his post disappeared. I bought a set from Amazon a couple days later and mounted them to my 2nd gen. Never did find that post again, don't know if it got deleted during the site change over or if someone pissed him off and he pulled it?

I posted pics in ventureriders facebook. I have problems posting pic's here.

After looking at the pic's of the bike I find it hard to believe it was totaled. Not sure about this being an air compressor. As far as I know, only the first gen had a compressor.

will it be easier to post pictures?

About a week ago one of our members posted info on a cheap set of arm rests he found on line. They cost around $130.00 they were made to fit a Goldwing, but he fabricated a bracket to fit his 1st gen. I also ordered a set and found an easy way to mount them on the 2nd gen. His post seems to have vanished, so I just want to say thank you.

Thank you all for the Birthday wishes. I spent the day with the love of my life. We got in a ride looking at the fall colors and stopped for ice cream. All in all a nice day.

Would that be a bad thing?

5 years ago Robin wouldn't go near a motorcycle. Now I can't get her off of it. she started out with short trips. We just added a few more miles and different roads each time we went out. The pillow top seats helped out a lot for numb butt. This summer we took a 10 day trip to Maggie Valley and the Tail of the dragon. About 2700 miles total. Then in September we took a 6 day trip through the New England states, another 1500 miles. She says its like seeing the world in a whole different way. Once you start, you can't get enough.

So how's the ride going? Haven't heard from you in a while. There is also another couple from the trike talk forum doing the same north east ride as you. They are riding a 2014 HD trike. they where in Bar Harbor Yesterday. Maybe you crossed paths.

I assume you purchased it used. Is it possible the previous owner installed a lowing kit. I had one on my first 99. it did not handle well at all with the rear end lowered. after removing it, it was like riding a different bike.

And I thought riding up Mt. Washington was scary.

You were in our back yard. Robin works in Ithaca and we live in Romulus. Glad you enjoyed our little piece of paradise.

don't look in up state or central NY, the job market here SUX!

Not something everyone would be interested in. It's cool but not my cup of tea. I would not buy tickets for it. It seems a cash prize of $1000.00 or so would sell tickets and it is something everyone can use.
