  1. The broken part is fixed, reinstalled the rear axel and most of the parts....Now if I can just figure out where all those wire go?
  2. Can I come? Is it to late to sign up? Why didn't somebody tell me about this? You guys always leave me out of all the fun.
  3. Don't say that to Robin, you know what you'll get. As for the stroll, we've been a bit busy lately. Will have to start practicing.
  4. Thank you Todd for your offer. To bad your welder can't handle this job, was looking forward to meeting you, hope you can make the WNY rally so I can meet you in person. As for the trike, all is good. I found a weld shop that did the job right away, it is fix and going back together.
  5. OK, didn't know this. I just checked my in box and found out we have a limit of 200. I still have room for a few more. Guess I should clean it out anyway. So Tooch, just give me a heads up when you are heading this way.
  6. I'm going to pull the rear end to make it easier to get to the back side. I am interested in your offer. Maybe we can work something out.
  7. Wish you live closer too, Don't like going to someone I don't know.
  8. After returning home on Saturday from Our 6 day 2100 mile ride, I was cleaning the trike and checking it over to find the part of the frame the sway link attaches to is broken clean off. Don't know when it happen but I did notice the trike rocking back and forth just a very little bit around 65 mph. Though it was the wind but know I'm thinking it was the broken link. Now the trike is in the garage with the body removed and am getting ready to remove the rear end so I can get it to someone that can weld it. Don't know how long it will be down, my work schedule doesn't give me much time to work on it, we are going through inventory this week. May be going to the WNY rally in the cage:yikes:
  9. I repaired the cracks in mine by drilling a very small hole at the end of each crack then used a two part plastic repair product that I can not for the life of me remember the name of it. It was a powder and liquid. All you have to do is pour the powder in the cracks and add the liquid and hardens in seconds. Then I added the support plates I got from Yamaha. I also move the trunk back to the rear most setting to give the wife more room. that was about 3 years ago and it is still holding.
  10. Pinwall has a large collection of radios available. That's where I get all my used parts.
  11. Any ride with pie... or ice cream at the end is all right with me. 2 miles or 200 miles, I'm in! Bring on the pie!
  12. Don't mean to hijack the thread, but has anyone heard from The Tooch? Last I heard he was going to pick up his new bike, then nothing for the last couple of weeks. I pm'd him a couple days ago and no reply. He has not posted since last month.
  13. The fuse for the lights is behind the left side panel. It is a 15 amp fuse. Try replacing it with new fuse, that one may be bad but hard to see. I don't know if the speedo is on the same circuit, but I now the light are for sure. Had that fuse blow while working on trailer lights last week.
  14. If it's wineries your into, come on up to the Finger Lakes region of NY. We have about 1 winery every 1/4 mile around every lake up here. Plus a few distilleries. Its only a 5 hour ride from the Highlands. By the way my wife and I were born right up the road from the Highlands, In South Amboy. If your up this way give us a shout.
  15. 93-95 don't remember exact dates. I did one Med and most of a yard period, then transferred to Earl NJ.
  16. Make the time to do it. It's a must see.
  17. I did 2 years on LHA2 USS Saipan, same type of ship. Worst 2 years of my 21 years career.
  18. You keeping that new bike a secret???? I seen that picture on your profile. When you going to tell us about it?
  19. First off, welcome to the funny farm. Where in up state NY are you heading to? We are in the Finger Lakes region. This is a great area to ride. Lots to see and lots of wineries, if you like wine. Great scenery and lots of lakes.
  20. You mentioned insurance. what insurance are you referring to?
  21. 40" wide by 48" long, not including the tongue.
  22. Never came across anything in writing. Everyone just seems to use book on the bike and original cost on the trike kit. Most trike I've seen for sale are all over priced, not all, but most. So I guess you can put what ever value you want on it.
  23. I want a custom paint job and lots of chrome....after all, safety first.
  24. Robin and I were heart broken that we couldn't make it to MD this year...Maybe staying home was a good thing. Prayers out to all who were hurt over this past weekend.
  25. I don't know what to say....that scared the crap out of me just reading about it. Thank god your ok. Take care and god bless.
