  1. TOM WHO???? oh its you, where you been? Sleeping and dreaming of ice cream probably. One of these days we are going to have to come out that way to pick up what Jonas left there for me. So finish up those chores and enjoy the warm weather while you can, cause it ain't gonna last!
  2. What he didn't talk about is how well the stuff also cleans out the fuel system. When I worked at a John Deere dealer the shop would fix many lawn mowers that were hard starting or running rough with sea foam. It worked about 80% of the time.
  3. what did you do, lose your honeydo list? Must be stuff to fix and paint around the house:confused24:
  4. Thank you all, for the birthday wishes....And Ben, as long as you keep sending money you will keep getting those calls. By the way, that's not Robin your talking to.
  5. Like I said 2 years ago, Don't have no nuts any more and my seat is still on the bike. Its a lot easier to work on the bike without having to pull my nuts off to get to the battery. Just saying.
  6. Just get on and ride. Don't worry about how it feels, that it's not the same as two wheels, that it handles different. Enjoy the security of not having to hold up 900 lbs of bike every time you stop or having to balance it at low speeds or having to worry about wet roads and gravel. As long as your face is still in the wind is all that matters. Besides, Kim will love it.
  7. Only if you plan on riding to Florida. We are leaving on Monday, going down in the cage.
  8. HELLOOOO ...Yamaha... anyone home??? we're talking here!!!
  9. Boy did I screw that up! Its a 2005 wing trike with 12300 miles on it. That's what the add says. Don't know if they left a number off the mileage and it is really 120300 miles.
  10. Mike, check out craigslist, finger lakes region, NY. there is a 2006, with Motortrike kit for, I believe $14999.00 with 32000 miles.
  11. From what I can see, everything looks ok. but with only 3 pictures its hard to tell the true condition. It is priced about $5k lower then any I have ever seen for sale, and I'm looking all the time. Only one way to know...someone needs to look at it.
  12. I would get some help to pull the motor off the frame, then look around for a good mc mechanic to replace the parts that are damaged. If you pull it your self and reinstall it, that is a big part of the labor charges saved. Just a guess, but I would think you could get it fixed for less then a grand and you will still have a low mileage motor.
  13. You hit the nail right on the head, something should have been done after the second DUI. You can bet you a$$ he never got his license back after the first one, not with his stellar record of criminal activity. So way did he keep getting put back out on the street. What ever happened to 3 strikes your out. I thought career criminals are suppose to stay in jail. After the third DUI it should have been obvious that this guy was going to keep doing it and kill someone in the end.
  14. Don't know what his problem is. He has made a lot of bad calls in the past. Did you know the couple that was killed?
  15. Yep, That's what I'm thinking. I'm gonna do my best to remind people about this case when he comes up for re-election.
  16. Cowpuc, your right judge Sapio who is the local town judge did not set bail, but when the case went in front of the county court, Judge Bender set the bail/bond. We here in Seneca County are not very happy with Bender.
  17. There are 2 local papers that are covering this story. The Democrat and Chronicle, out of Rochester and the Finger lakes Times, out of Geneva. The Syracuse paper may also be covering the store.
  18. Need to make a correction. This will be his 5th Dui. A earlier article stated he ad 6 previous dui convictions.
  19. Just heard on local news, the judge set bail at $25000.00 Are you kidding me! There's a chance this dirt bag can get back out on the street! He's still in jail, lets hope he can't post bail.
  20. A couple of weeks ago, just 7 miles from my home, this moron was diving home after getting himself loaded, and ran head on into a middle age couple out on a afternoon ride on there MC. No skid marks. He crossed the center line in a curve and took them out at full speed. Killed instantly! They never had a chance. The car that was following this jerk stopped to give assistance and told the police that the moron said he needed a ride home because he ran into a tree. He was so drunk he had no idea he kill these two people. He keep asking for a ride home. When he was told he killed two people he started to walk home and was picked up by the police and arrested for dui, leaving the seen of a deadly crash, driving without a license, driving without an interlock device on his car, 2 counts of vehicular manslaughter, and a couple of other charges. 6 previous DUI's and several other crimes that he did time for. What I want to know is where did he get the truck he was driving, who gave him the keys to it and why aren't they being brought up on charges? Why was this stellar citizen on the road at all? WTF!? One other thing that really bothers me, he lived just a couple hundred yards up the road from 5 of my grand children... What if?
  21. I thought everything on the interweb is true:confused24:
  22. I have the stock J&M intercom setup and installed the mic-mute kit that is available through one of our members. Works great, just click the CB button and no mic noise, want to talk, hit the button again and the mic's are live.
  23. We will be more then happy to join in any m&e in Florida.... just as soon as we move down there, which we hope will be in about 18 to 24 months from now.
  24. Doesn't matter what dates you select for a rally/event, there will always be conflicts. With that being said, holding a rally at or near the same dates as another rally will cause low attendance at both rallies. Unless they are on opposite sides of the country. The summer months are always full up in the north country because of the limited weather window. I know September is not good for those folks with school age kids and those folks with jobs in the education field, but it is the most open month that still has good weather.
