  1. Lewis $30. your way with address. Thanks for your efforts for the kids! Fred
  2. Playboy the handicap placard is on the trunk rear....for two reasons; 1 I don't want the first genners running over me while I'm puttin along taking in the scenery 2 Sure hate to clutter up the F-4 with a card...... I thought the handicap card was just for cars and trucks? Thanks Don...since F-4 has been on the road for a while, might be a good idea to ask them to take a break and rest up for a spell. I think sitting around the campfire...wondering.....is good winter therapy. Much better to work on guitar calluses than install and clean a w/s:whistling: Fred
  3. Seems the drawing has been cancelled, now there will be no winners, For reasons of discrimination, filed by all those danged first genners. The factory failed to offer a shield, for the old outdated bike, Givin the owners a reason to cry foul ball, and let the tempers spike. Brings back memories of the old old days, when my siblings would start to fussin, Mother would say "kids settle down", before your Father starts to cussin. Now we all just need to take a break, and as a family continue with fun, Just borrow your girlfriends credit card, and then GO GET YA ONE! Fred
  4. Check this shield............ the only thing I did ...was borrowed the girlfriends plastic and......Bingo! Fred
  5. Got Ya Goin.....Didn't I ? Wish I would have saved some poetry for you and a tune.
  6. Fantastic job on the hitch Playboy:thumbsup:..... nice bell and the reflection in the chrome shows a pretty good camera too.......which finally brings me to the question......What Brand of Windshield???.............................. Did you win?.... Fred
  7. Fuse next to battery:thumbsup: I also ran the 12ga. wire thru 1/4 nylon tubing to the light relay and GPS power up front. Fred
  8. :sign yeah that: PIAA 70476 60/55W = 135/125W ....5000/3800 Kelvin Low Beam...Bluish High Beam...Xtreme White Fred
  9. I ran a 20 amp power branch to lighter receptacle for air compressor, trouble light and etc. while running power to air horn relay that I placed under right cover. Not pretty but it works! I followed SilvrTs air horn setup in an earlier post. Thanks SilvrT. Upload of the picture failed....so....... I made a plate for the power receptacle and placed in the spot where the horn was removed. Fred
  10. Clean/neat job Owen.........can the battery be removed without moving everything? Fred
  11. Good Job WILDMAN!!!
  12. Thats right Joe...............dropped the front 1in, had two aluminum supports for the inner flaring machined and added to the risers before installing the risers.....I couldn't believe the difference in riding comfort the 1 1/2" risers made. After the first coffee relief stop....a tank of gas is no problem. Sometimes I wear a corset.......ya I know......but I don't have the belly problem like some people do:whistling: ...and no we don't do pictures! Fred
  13. Is your backrest too much forward? Fred
  14. :sign yeah that: Fred
  15. Gearld thanks for sharing......I have sold pictures that were not nearly as unique. Fred
  16. Great demo:thumbsup: .........but I was sorta lookin for another "DYSON"
  17. Larry, how bad would the anxiety be if you didn't have an F-4 and was on the list ? Its Killing me and I'm not in the race!!! I can't imagine the uncertainty. Fred
  18. Dan sounds like you're right on top of things....thinking about shelving and etc.. I'm guessing that the recliner and coffee maker is a done deal? Fred
  19. I grew up a country boy, poor as poor could be, It instilled in me Real Values, now days you just don't see. It was rough growing up in WV, life always had its spills, I have one leg shorter than the other, the Dr says from climbing these hills 60,000 miles per year I average, on the ole RSV it seems, I don't want to be misleading, 50,000 miles of that is Dreams. I heard of the F-4 windshield, about a year and a half ago, Sold earthworms, eggs and chickens, trying to save up enough dough. I wanted one of the F-4s badly, just almost enough to beg, Indeed a lucky Hillbilly, had an old hen lay a golden egg. On the phone I quickly placed my order, was truely a lucky man, 48 hours later I felt special, I had the F-4 in my hand. Now 7800 miles later, I'm still happy as a man can be, Riding a grinnin most all the time, By George now I can see. They must make them with feathers, in the rain it does so well, The F-4 disperses water, just like an old Ducks Tail Cleaning is no big problem, as with the old shields it could be, Spray on the Gleme and wipe it off, kinda simple now you see. But the F-4 has a problem, looks like Don Frank would know, Every bee that wants to greet me, through the vent holes its butt will go. I already have an F-4 and love it....so don't put me on the list. I hope whoever gets this shield enjoys it as much as I do mine. I just wanted to get some practice...maybe sometime I will want to WIN!! Fred
  20. Try This One.....I think? http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=38549
  21. This is sure a good video...amazing how everyone see things differently. Cougar saw the vac as a Dyson....I honestly think SilvrT doesn't remember what he saw...somehow he saw those numbers before he saw the vac. Personally...I saw she had already been there.....I mean being plumbed to the vac and all....I did not see the guy sneeking up on the girl with the vac....soooo...RandyR and friesman would you care to elaborate.....what did you see....the girl with the camera or what?? Fred
  22. Yea..long threads can get one flabbergasted some times. I think post #294 is the obstacle??? Fred
