The dueleys from Roadhouse are pretty new from Roadhouse. I really like the looks of the shark fin but have not heard any on a Royal. I had e-mailed them to see if they could provide a copy of a dyno run on the Royal, but they had none. I've heard from others that they have a quality product, but that has all been here-say. I'm hoping that on the next Venture West someone has them mounted on their bike!

Been using Shell Rotella Syn in all my bikes for years now. No problems yet. That includes Triumphs and Harleys. I didn't think the Yamaha should be any different, this is my first Yamaha. Am I missing something?

I'd guess the electronic gages would be pretty accurate and easy to use. It looks like you can dial in the sensitivity. And that idea of using the fish tank valves is really neat! The manometer I made for the twin Triumphs will work on the Venture, but its always a hassle to have to move the lines and plugs. The prices for these seem to be better than the mercury sticks, even the standard gages were higher. How do they stand up to usage? Not like I have a shop or anything, but I'm sometimes a real klutz.

From what I read they hook up just like the vacuum gauges, but they measure the vacuum electronically, no moveing parts and hand sized. Perhaps like a mass air flow sensor?

Anybody use the electronic gauges. I believe I saw one on the Aerostitch website for $83.00.

I've got the XM in my truck and the Venture. Love it and don't listen anymore to tapes, CD's, or AM, FM radio. Just trying to figure a better way to mount it to the Venture. Been looking at handlebar mounts, but they want 3 times the amount I paid for the receiver!

Robin got me a Roady XT satellite radio for the RSV. I mounted it tonight in the speaker grill with the adapter provided, and used the cassette player adapter. The antenna I just put on the gas tank next to the headset cord. It plays well, but I'm not so sure about using the speaker grill adapter to mount the radio, seems to bounce quite a bit. How have you mounted your radio? Leonard

I've tried the Avon Venoms, than the Metzler 880's, and now I'm trying the Continental Milestones on the rear wheel of my Triumph. The Metzlers gave me better milage than the Avons, but I want better. The guys at the shop here in Tehachapi tell me they are getting that with the Continentals. I have never gotten 15000 miles on a tire, if I did I would be one happy boy!!!
