Hi; I am putting a new rear tire on my 86VR. I have the repair manual and am following its' directions. I removed the 2 bolts from the caliper mount and am unable to remove the caliper. It rotates freely on the rotor when I spin the wheel but it will not lift off. Have I missed something? As ussual I apreciate any and all help

Hey Buddy; How do you like the Pirellis? My rear Venom is cracking in the middle of the tread. I have been shopping around and found MT66 Pirelli for about $50 less than the Avons. Thanks; Don

Hi Alvald; I have a set of Jardines on my 86 VR. I love the sound, roll on the throtle and they sound awesome. They are not real load at idle or at low end. I do have an issue with the chrome finnish, after a year and a half they are flacking in some spots. Good luck; Don -
Hey Dan: I know what you are going through. I have had problems with blood clotts since the early 90s. I have been on coumadin since 93. In 2002 I had a Dr take me off of the coumadin and ended up having a pulmonary embolism, they put a filter in me and I have been back on the bloodthinners since. In 2006 I had my left ankle fused and that failed. I have had to really cut way down on my riding. Because of the clotts, none of my Drs would do anything about the messed up ankle. Now the screws are loose and I have to see a new surgeon in May and hopefully they will finally do something about it! Hope you find something that works for you. Don

I was at work in Boynton Beach Fl. It was a very cold clear day and I was watching the smoke trail from the rocket. I had seen most launches from the Cape over the years. All of sudden there were a number of smoke trails spiraling off and it was obvious that something had gone terribly wrong. Went inside and they announced on the TV that there had been a "caatstrophic event". Don

When I lived down in Fl, I was riding the road out around Lake Okeechoobee, and had a 10 to 12 gotar cross 20 yards in front of me. Fortunately I was only going about 45 mph and had plenty of time to stop. The big sucker lifted his head up like a lizard and then hauled azz across the road and into a canal. They do move fast on land! Don

GaWildcat, I guess your friend didn't hear that slavery went out in the 1860s! I am sorry you are forced to live in that situation, especially with those who question your condition. I hope things get better for you soon. Don
