  1. The are 6x6x24 (inches)... They will be stacked on the edge of my cement drive on bricks to keep them off the wet cement in winter. Also next to my table saw so I can cut them easly into 1 ft halves. Keep the ideas coming....
  2. I origionally bought it for firewood. What creative building suggestions do you have.
  3. It is Fir. And yes, I do plan on stacking it with spacers in between.
  4. I have several trees to fall for all the pleasurable experience I would not want to miss out on. Recently purchased a 12,000lb winch with a snap block pully. This will start i September for firewood next winter.
  5. Unable to make it. Maybe next time. Hopefully I may have my 89 VR running next time.
  6. No air space, Kiln dried, and easily stackable. And only 4 miles from my work place.
  7. Here is a picture of the location of the Fuel air mixture screw. Screw in until it just seats. Do not put extra pressure, just as it seats stop. Then turn OUT of 2.5 turns is recommended from the point of seat. Of the 4 screws to the cover of the diaphram, locate the bottom 2. Pick a point about 1/2 the distance of the 2 screws. Then directly below that point about 1/2 inch you will see a hole and there is a screw inside. If yours is solid like mine were, then you will want to carfully drill it out. I believe there are some members that know the exact drill side and how much to drill in to uncover the opening. Maybe you are lucky and yours is already accessible.
  8. On my 89 VR, the brass plug had to be drilled out. I do not know if all are that way, but I've read about others who had to drill that plug so a screw driver could get to them. I'll see if I can find a picture of it. Maybe some else who knows more about it may already have a picture to post. I'm at work now, but will look in my picture folder.
  9. 1) New fuel filter 2) Air Fuel mixture of 2 and ½ turns out. 3) Does your fuel pump click several times fast then slows down and stop clicking. Maybe your fuel pump needs replacing?

  13. This Blue Tooth came off my helmet in an accident. I striped and cleaned the surface on both the Blue Tooth and the new Helmet. Put on what I thought was a strong double sided tape. But over a couple of months the tape gave up. The Blue Tooth is behind the brown double sided tape that I pealed off. Any good suggestion?
  14. Hi Dana: Glad to see your 1st post. The guys here are great and will help you get your VR in tip top shape. Buckley Washington, Where on earth is Buckley, Washington. Sounds like Buck Wheat from some mid western state, or there abouts.

  19. Well if you can do it, than I can do like wise. I saw that I could move the bracket a tad bit away from the filter. Got a magnetic philips and a few tries I got it. My left hand's fingers just are not the same since my accident.
  20. Could someone post a picture of the additional brake light added due to the bags covering the stock brake lights.
  21. I recently purchased a trailer to haul my Kubota tractor. I would like to also be able to haul a vehicle. The issue is that the trailer bed is 2 foot tall and the built in ramp is only 5 ft long. The ramps are just too short for a vehicle. My question is what length of a beam would I need, to drive an average sedan up. Also how thick of a beam would I need to support a standard 1/2 ton pick up truck. Believe it or not the trailer is home made. That is what it saids on the title. The duel axles and frame was part of a mobile home. The entire trailer is built like a tank. Some sanding and a fresh coat of paint, the trailer would look like million dollar. All suggestions welcomed.
  22. Ya, possibly. Maybe I can hitch a ride with my neighbor on his new to him 86 VR.
  23. Ok some many months ago I replaced the fuel filter. In so doing the two half metal parts that goes around the filter got a bit bent out of shape. Only now have I gotted to finish the job. I ended up pulling the entire mount. Found a shouvel handel the right diameter as the fuel filter and tighten the screw to force the 2 metal halves back into shape. I'm having a lot of fun trying to get it all back together. Does anyone know the procedure in getting the mount and filter back in with all the hoses? I'm looking for a step by step procedure.
