I'm planning on coming to the Kruis'n the Kootenays in 2012. At the same time I found a time share (22 Jun to 29 Jun) that I can trade into in Kelowna called Holiday Resort Park immediately the week before ending on the 29th of June. My wife has relatives in Kelowna too visit also. This would be perfect for I would leave Kelowna on the 29th an arrive at Nelson that same day. Maybe make a day of it and sight see between Kelowna and Nelson. My question is has anyone stayed at the Holiday Resort Park in their 1 bedroom condo. Would like your opinion. Maybe some units are nicer than others? What are some recommended rides and places to see, things to do, and favorite places to eat in the Kelowna area Second, What would be a nice ride between Kelowna and Nelson being that it is just a short 200 miles between the 2 cities. I wouldn't mind a longer scenic ride.

My son said that the gun world is pretty big with lots of possibilities. But his guess is that this maybe your first gun purchase and so being he is recommending that you check out the Beretta CX4 Carbine with the PX4 Hand Gun. Both 9mm and they actually use the same magazine and the Holly Point 9mm used in the hand gun can create a decent size hole. Also Beretta makes pretty good quality guns that really looks nice. http://www.berettausa.com/

Stayed at the Marriott's Grand Chateau. It was really nice, and 1 block of the strip. It was just across the street from the Miracle Mile indoor mall. Once inside the mall you felt like you were outside walking for the sky moved as you walked. It was my 1st time at Vegas and I took Vegas for $800 playing Ultimate Texas Hold E'm. You played against the dealer like Black Jack. The dealer does not have any better odds except you get to see your cards and can fold giving up your anti. If you fold the dealer could have a worst hand than you. Then there is the bonus bet, this is where the dealer has the odds. I was winning about 3 out of every 4 hands. Started with $25 hands then about about 45 minutes wining 3 out of every 4 hands I uped the bet to $50 a hand. I still was winning 3 out of every 4 hands so I up the bet to $100 a hand. I lost the my 1st $100 hand and got cold feet and went back to $50 per hand. I continued to win and when I was $1000 ahead I pulled $800 chips aside and played until the $200 was gone. Which the cards did go cold. Had I kept going on the $100 bet I would have won about twice the amount. Since then I've played Ultimate Texas Hold E'm at Lake Tahoe and won $350. I also play up in Canada at the Kimberley Casino. I especially asked if they had an Ultimate Texas Hold Em table and they did but no dealer was assigned to it. I asked if I came in if they would get a dealer. No Problemo. After about an hour of playing I was $100 ahead. It wasn't as easy as playing in Vegas or Tahoe. Well my policy is to quit when you are ahead, and so I did and had a wonder dinner spending my winnings.

I'm a little rusty especially on the Logarithms and Mantissa and Trig. Never looked back after I bought my HP-35 and still have it also.

What? Really?

I think the sign says it all.

Hey, early in the clips I saw an engineer using a post slide rule. I still have mine from high school.

My parents raised me with a healthy respect, love and fear of them. "If you don't work you don't eat. Period" I never missed a meal, but my three brothers did. Stupid Is Stupid Does.

Thanks,

So I removed the headlamp and dashcover. I put the regular, non led bulb into the headlamp indicator socket. I put the key on and the bulb just barely glowed. Not enough glow to see the white light on. I was expecting to see the bulb glow bright indicating that the low beam was out being that the headlamp unit was disconnected. Next I hit the high beam switch and the indicator bulb glowed bright, which I expected being that the head lamp unit was disconnected. With the key still on and the switch on low beam. I connected the headlamp unit, and the indicator bulb glowed a little bit brighter, just enough to notice that it was glowing brighter but even so the bulb glow was still very very low. Not enough to see through the white lense. I hit the high beam switch and the glow of the bulb did not change. So with the non led bulb in the indicator socket the unit works ok, even tho the bulb is getting that very low amount of current. Then I recalled that I had switched the headlamp bulb a while back to the EURO Dezigns Xenon Krypton 8500K H.I.D H4. It was very reasonably priced and with a lift time warrentee. I learned about it from a member here, and that he uses it on his bike and all his cars. Well so put the old non LED bulb into the headlamp unit, and went thru the same above test. Received the same result. So my question is why is the headlamp indicator bulb receiving a low about of current when with the key on. This low amount of current is enough to turn the led bulb on bright. 2nd question is why with the headlamp unit disconnected does the indicator lamp not glow bright with the non LED indicator bulb like it does when I hit the high beam switch. Shouldn’t the indicator lamp glow bright with the headlamp unit disconnected. For now I plan on just using the non LED bulb in the indicator socket. Ohhhh. I found what the 2 allen head bolts were for. I’m installing a cross bar on the handle bar so I can mount some accessories on it. The 2 bolts were removed on each side of the handle bar.

I got a friend who bought a used 85 wing. I am going to loan him my carbtune. Was wondering if any Wing owners has a documented procedure in syncing up the carbs.
-
Why is it that the right 2 cylinders on the carb tune fluxuates about 2 to 3 horizontal indicators while the left two stays almost dead still. I can adjust the left two to each other or away from each other. I can adjust the left and right banks to each other. When I rev the engine all 4 banks response then return to its adjusted level. Is everything ok or it that an indication of something else needing repair?

I Spoke to my sister-in-law who used to work in collection for a hospital. She said that the offer is pretty generous. Hospitals are hurting like many other business. Plus if you are making small payments that barely reduce the principal that they really would like to get your account off the books. In many cases hospital are getting nothing from welfare patience and getting something is better than nothing. You could counter their offer and see how bad they want you off the books, if you have some cash. If you stop payment, for better negotiating position, negotiate before they turn it over to a collection agency.

Ya man, the Jamaician Bobsleigh Team. The Jamaican national bobsleigh team represents Jamaica in international bobsledding competitions. The team first gained fame during their debut in the 1988 Winter Olympic Games in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where they gained international fame as the ultimate underdogs, representing a tropical nation in a winter sport. The team's performance at the 1988 Olympics inspired the 1993 film Cool Runnings.

I've been hearing that the economy is looking up. Well it maybe looking up for those who meet and look at it, but not for those who does the work.

I will ask my sister-in-law for she used to work for a hospital in the billing/collection department. Give me till Monday, but I'll probably get back to you sooner.

Wouldn't it be fun to do this?! From: Elder Banking... PRICELESS!! Shown below, is an actual letter that was sent to a bank by an 86 year old woman. The bank manager thought it amusing enough to have it published in the New York Times. Dear Sir: I am writing to thank you for bouncing my check with which I endeavored to pay my plumber last month. By my calculations, three nanoseconds must have elapsed between his presenting the check and the arrival in my account of the funds needed to honor it. I refer,! of course, to the automatic monthly deposit of my entire pension, an arrangement which, I admit, has been in place for only eight years. You are to be commended for seizing that brief window of opportunity, and also for debiting my account $30 by way of penalty for the inconvenience caused to your bank. My thankfulness springs from the manner in which this incident has caused me to rethink my errant financial ways. I noticed that whereas I personally answer your telephone calls and letters, --- when I try to contact you, I am confronted by the impersonal, overcharging, pre-recorded, faceless entity which your bank has become. From now on, I, like you, choose only to deal with a flesh-and-blood person. My mortgage and loan repayments will therefore and hereafter no longer be automatic, but will arrive at your bank, by check, addressed personally and confidentially to an employee at your bank whom you must nominate. Be a! ware that it is an OFFENSE under the Postal Act for any other person to open such an envelope. Please find attached an Application Contact which I require your chosen employee to complete. I am sorry it runs to eight pages, but in order that I know as much about him or her as your bank knows about me, there is no alternative. Please note that all copies of his or her medical history must be countersigned by a Notary Public, and the mandatory details of his/her financial situation (income, debts, assets and liabilities) must be accompanied by documented proof. In due course, at MY convenience, I will issue your employee with a PIN number which he/she must quote in dealings with me. I regret that it cannot be shorter than 28 digits but, again, I have modeled it on the number of button presses required of me to access my account balance on your phone bank service. As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Let me level the playing field even further. ! When you call me, press buttons as follows: IMMEDIATELY AFTER DIALING, PRESS THE STAR (*) BUTTON FOR ENGLISH #1. To make an appointment to see me #2. To query a missing payment. #3. To transfer the call to my living room in case I am there. #4 To transfer the call to my bedroom in case I am sleeping. #5. To transfer the call to my toilet in case I am attending to nature. #6. To transfer the call to my mobile phone if I am not at home. #7. To leave a message on my computer, a password to access my computer is required. Password will be communicated to you at a later date to that Authorized Contact mentioned earlier. #8. To return to the main menu and to listen to options 1 through #9. To make a general complaint or inquiry. The contact will then be put on hold, pending the attention of my automated answering service. #10. This is a second reminder to press* for E! nglish. While this may, on occasion, involve a lengthy wait, uplifting music will play for the duration of the call. Regrettably, but again following your example, I must also levy an establishment fee to cover the setting up of this new arrangement. May I wish you a happy, if ever so slightly less prosperous New Year? Your Humble Client And remember: Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to piss us off. Being that so many of us are in that age range, I would think that between all of us we could make this a reality.

I looked into your solution. $30,000.00 plus, including sales tax and I'd probably have to add some goodies. With 3,000 down then at 2.99 % that would be approx 475 per month for 5 years. On top of that full coverage insurance. OUCH! I couldn't endure the pain. But if I were to spend $30,000.00 plus on another vehicle. Oh please hurt me!
-
Kudos to your suggestion, very creative. And the process would be the most enjoyable solution so far.

And that was using a $2.50 discount coupon And my Senior Discount of $4.11 Otherwise it would have been $45.20 1 from me to my wife. 1 from my wife to me. 1 from my wife to her mother. 1 from me to my only granddaughter. 1 from my wife to her only granddaughter. 1 from me and my wife to our only son. 1 from me and my wife to our only daughter and son-in-law. 1 to my sister-in-law. Of course I needed to be there for I'm the Senior Citizen. I can't imagine having 4 children what my Valentine Card bill would come to. But a larger Valentine Card bill would be a blessing.
