I've done this run several times, the pancake breakfast before the ride is well worth it. The ride is OK, it used to start in Joliet at the motor speedway which made it a longer ride. Now it starts in Morris and that cut the ride in half. Now I usually just ride with a few others directly to Marseilles, make my donation, check out the vendors, grab some grub, than go to the ceremony. Very emotional! After that the big party starts in the streets of Marseilles, gets pretty wild as the evening goes on. This years date is 6/21/14,usually happens on the 3rd Sat. in June

My son just called to let me know he downed another buck with the shotgun about an hour ago. That's 3 deer for us this season so far:cool10:

My son took a buck the first week in Nov. and I took a doe in the third week of Oct. Both taken with a bow. 1st shotgun season started this weekend, we went out yesterday but didn't see a thing. My son is sitting all day today, we'll see how that goes. There's always tomorrow still.

Also tentatively set to play in Chicago at AMC River East theater on Dec 2 2013. Same deal, they need to sell a certain amount of tickets to air this movie.

Still looking for an OEM passing lamp complete housing in very good condition for the Royal Star Venture, if anyone has one they want to get rid of let me know what you want for it. Thanks again Bill..

Get em where you can, I spoke with a Dunlop rep about 2 wks ago and he told me they have none on the shelf and production for the E3 front tire isn't scheduled to start until Aug. 19:confused24:. If they had none on the shelf 2-3wks ago you think they would move that start date up and get some tires to their distributors.

Anybody interested in a Dunlop E3 MT90B-16 front tire with very low miles, just put it on yesterday. I will be changing it out as soon as my 150/80-16 arrives. Let me know, I'll put it up in the classifieds as soon as I get it off the bike.

OK I just took the bike out for a spin with the new smaller front tire "Dunlop E3 MT90B16". I feel that it handles much better as far as cruising around town and parking lot speeds. Not very good when you get the speed up over 65, very squirelly, very touchy on the steering. I will probably go back to the original 150/80-16. Just my thoughts on it.

Still trying to get either motorcycle superstore or dunlop tires to reimburse me for mounting and balancing. Had original tire balanced twice at two different shops in an attempt to stop vibrations. I have a video of the tire running out but can't get it to upload here. But if someone wanted to see it I could email it.

Just hung up with rep from dunlop, he confirmed with me that there is no issues as far as defects. The only problem right now is they have none in stock. So I am going with the MT90HB-16 smaller front tire in order to keep dunlops on the front and rear as I originally purchased. We'll see how it rides and go from there:fingers-crossed-emo

As of right now they will refund my money after I return the tire. Because I also purchased the rear tire at the same time I would like to keep both tire as dunlops so I'm thinking of trying the smaller front tire MT90B16, at this time it's still listed on their web site. I will be talking with a supervisor later today from motorcycle superstore. Also will call dunlop and see what they have to say about this.

I purchased an E3 150/80H-16 biasply front tire for my 2005 RSV, turns out to be defective. Wanted to exchange it for another and Motorcyclesuperstore tells me that they no longer will sell this tire as dunlop tire mfg. told them there is a known problem with this tire and they are no longer selling it. Has anyone else heard of any such issues with this tire? Bill......

Very sure it was the mirror, because when he put a towel over the mirror the smolthering stopped. It is an after market mirror, looks perfectly flat, maltese cross type. If I didn't see it myself I wouldn't think it was possible either.
