  1. prob a good idea to keep it away from second gens, you wouldnt want to over work her trying to keep up. i know its painful but hang in their pal we're here for ya.i'm gonna have to make a trip up there and straighten out your meds. he he ha ha becareful yammerdan
  2. F.Y.I. the tire only made it about 78 miles before it went down. went flat at 5:25 and just got home. no tybee island for us,maybe next time!! leson learned!!! good night all.

  5. thanks for the info and your right if i'm gonna patch it the right way i may as well just buy a tire so i just put a straight plug in it and hope for the best. i did get to change out my final drive oil and glad i did. wasn't much shavings in it than again there wasn't much oil in it either,guess i should of checked it more freq. i put 75-90 syn blend in it and hope thats ok. i'm sure there be pleanty of feed back on that. hope i'm ready for the trip to tybee island!!! new rear brakes, bleed the fluid out,new final drive oil and o yes the new patch.(still bad steering bearon)

  7. thanks for the info i guess i'll plug it and hope for the beast. the temp should be fairly cool and i think the trip will be about 620 miles.

  9. well just finished the rear brakes getting ready to change out the final drive oil when lo and behold i find this(i know better to find at home that on the road)http://www.venturerider.org/forum/picture.php?albumid=800&pictureid=5051 the problem is the tire is already cupping has fairly good tread but riding two up with gear to tybee island will a plug be enough or not? dont have the money for a new tire, and yes when i pulled it out air started pouring out so i put back in until i plug it. would like some feed back, thanks
  10. just have a nice dog house ready just in case,sleeping bag,water and maybe a beer fridge handy.

  14. thanks for the info again eck,i thought about changing the pads every 10,000 miles from inside and outside to try to keep them even. i dont think theres a directaul dirrerance in the pads so i should be alright.

  17. i think your right eck but gonna try to see how it dose. george looked at it and thought it would be alright but i dont know after taking the pads off and seeing how bad they were.

  19. alright i'll pick a date for sure. i will keep an eye on weather but there should be some warm weather starting in feb and theres a dairy queen in town and i know thats a big hit, thanks
